Had a nice day out at their beer festival 13 ales in good condition and great Indian Street food. So we returned for Sunday lunch with my brother-in-law law and his wife. The starters and bbq were so good and filling we didn't manage a curry, the stir fried potatoes balls were excellent and the real ale as usual was perfect.

We went for a birthday, from the front it doesn't look all that but it's a hidden gem. Iv heard a lot about The Vine so we thought we would give it a try. Very good food, if you want a restaurant than this isn't for you but if you want good food it's definitely worth going. The BBQ section is a good shout for a starter. Quick derived friendly staff.

I went with a friend on her recommendation and I must say I've never eaten Indian food in a pub before, what a novelty! We ordered the food at the bar and sat down in a beautiful glass roofed restaurant the staff were really friendly and the food was exceptionally great. I would definitely recommend The Vine for a truly authentic Indian meal. I can't wait to go back there again. Highly recommend.

Went after a west brom game and the staff were excellent even though it was packed. the food was served very fast and it is top quality. The choice between curry and Barbeque is a tough. But, one many would like to have!

I visit the Vine on a regular basis as I work nearby. The food is always good, very good value for money and is brought to you in record time. A bonus when you are your lunch hour ! They have a very wide range of Indian food available but also serve English food and snacks if Indian food is not your thing. I would thoroughly recommend for a quick lunch time bite.

Real ale meets stellar curry in a one-of-a-kind establishment, which has evidently carved out a very popular niche for itself, thank you very much. Anyone staying at the nearby Park Inn hotel would do themselves a great favour by skipping an overpriced, uninspiring meal in the hotel restaurant and taking a ten minute walk to this most unlikeliest of venues. The friendly, welcoming staff, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food, at very reasonable prices, are a winning combination. The goat curry, served on the bone, is not something you will find in your average curry house but is well worth a shout. The naans are the best I have ever had, including some very expensive Indian restaurants in London.

Hadn't been here for some time. A bit up market from 20+ years ago. The starters sheekh kebab & chicken tikka were excellent. Also had a chicken curry which was the best I have had for ages.

Have visited here a few lunch times and always walked out full and pleased with the experience.
The Lunchtime Mixed platter is always a good pick, but I would recommend a sauce with it as I can be dry being mainly meat, good though and always served quickly and piping hot.

Theres always a debate between me & my friends about where has the best grills in Birmingham..The Vine is always a top contender with the open grill cooking in the back! The meat is always cooked to oerfection, while you cant order a pre set mix grill, you can order them seperately & make your own! Cheap drinks too & a great beer garden for the summer days! Would definitely recommend!

good service.Yummy food. Def go back again. Easy to find on a map although at the end of a trading estate doesn't enhance the visit

I went here Saturday with family for a birthday and all I can say Is wow. Do not be deceived by the exterior of this place it is absolutely huge inside. Decor is nicely done and has a big beer garden. What makes this place is the food. It's amazing aromatic lots of variety and the portions are huge! I can definitely recommend anything of the grill or a claypot curry. If your thinking about visiting this place you've got to!

This is my favourite place to eat, and well worth making the 500 mile round trip twice a year to do just that !! The food is second to none, when I lived in the area we ate here at least once a week, prices are fair and the portions are good, and a the BBQ is healthy. Looking forward to my next visit in October

Visited for lunch with a friend as it was his birthday. Again had trouble parking, looks like they are clearing a space for a car park which will help though. Ordered the lunchtime platter for me and a curry with fried rice for my friend, along with a pint and a large coke, total cost £20. Also ordered a chicken tikka to takeaway and they were good enough to get this ready for when we left. Food arrived really quickly which was good as it was our lunch hour, the platter was huge, 6 different types of meat along with chips and sauce, all of them different and tasty. No problems with the curry either and all was lapped up. Really great meal again and I can see why it is always winning curry pub of the year.

I'm very fussy when it comes to curry. I am often , left disappointed. Spicy is often mistaken for flavour. The vine blends both to perfection, at a reasonable price. The best part though is the barbecue, with the traditional cry of the chef of "10 minutes", when you have selected the skewers you want barbecued.
The beers although not real ales, are verygood and well kept. This TARDIS like pub/restaurant is not to be missed. Family friendly.
One word of caution when West Brom are playing at home, you wont be able to park and it is packed to the rafters. I personally avoid it on these days.Do your taste buds a favour eat here.

Busy local pub worth going to before going to the hawthorns. Quite busy but a very friendly crowd in the pub. Solid selection of beers but could do with a few more local

We have been visiting this restaurent for quite sometime now and since few months they have increased the price drastically which has now reflected in less clientele as seen during Friday's and Saturdays. Previously it was very difficult to even get a seat during Friday's and Saturdays but now it is empty. The food is of good quality but not worth the price though. BBQ food has also increased which is ridiculously high. Many similar restaurents are there in and around with same or better quality food now and unless the owners take notice of this and change the price this restaurent will soon close down inspire of serving good food.

I've been going there for years, I first went with friends from work and now I take my whole family there. We don't eat curry anywhere else, I live 20 minutes drive away and I drive there for takeaways. It's a family friendly place where you can enjoy a great meal and a pint aswell. It has its traditional pub area and a be area at the back. We eat there at least once a month. If I had the money I would buy the place.

This truly is an unassuming pub from the outside! You would never believe the food that comes out from the kitchen! It's always piping hot, tastes fantastic and costs very little.. What more could you want from a curry house mascaraing as a pub! It's a nice atmosphere with a locals vibe.. In a lunch time it can be three deep at the bar but your curry still only takes 15 min to come out, they are prepared and very equipped to deal with big parties who only have an hour for lunch.. You can also take your time and have a few beers if you want. I go when ever the opportunity presents its self.. They cater for vegetarians too, kids meals or British classics for Indian non eating people with in the party too.

The food is very good but there are now a number of similar pubs with the same quality of food locally where the customer service is far better. There seems to be a " can't be bothered attitude" by some staff. This was never the case in the past and I believe it is going to reflect in the number of people using the Vine.
I hope this is taken as useful feedback and not just a moan.

The food in the restaurant was of good quality however I didn't like how you had to order off a board by the till. I also felt that it was too busy and noisy for me to return again.

Simple Indian food Cooked well at decent prices.
The Vine is located in a corner of west Bromwich from outside looks abit rough but inside it is ok, there are plenty of tables and chairs.
Tried a few different dishes and must say the flavour's are well done. A great place for some nice traditional Indian food.

Went with a friend from work for a quick lunch and chat. The staff were friendly and the choice of food on offer excellent. Not overblown with the layout as it feels a bit like a café. All in all though a very good way to spend an hour.
