A brilliant place to take kids and to walk your dogs, a beautiful spot in the heart of the country with play areas for the kids and stunning pools and wooded areas to relax and enjoy a picnic, simply beautiful

Great place to just chill or entertain the children.

Playground: Great for children, and there are toilet facilities

Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly with many paths to walk and open areas for the canines to roam.

Absolutely beautiful place to go with family. Went for a long walk around the whole park with young children. People are friendly, and dogs are on leashes, or the owners are considerate and keep their dogs away from children. The park was clean, and the scenery was breathtaking, especially the little bridges, waterfalls, and trails. There are pigeons, ducks, and swans in the lake. The play was clean, and the equipment was in good condition. Overall, it is a great atmosphere for going for a walk or taking children for a play around.

Playground: Lots of equipment for children to play, and there is water that comes on, in warm days for children to play with.

Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly park, digs not allowed in the playground only.

Picnic area: There is plenty of beautiful fresh grass for picnics

Free on-site car parking, with access to the Arboretum and Country Park. The many paths are tarmacked, level and well maintained, and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Park and woodland walks, including a circular walk around the pleasant boating lake.
At the time we visited, there was no access to boats, and also the public toilets were closed. Various recreational facilities are available, including basketball court, tennis court, table tennis tables, and a large enclosed children's play area.
There are plenty of open grassed spaces, and a number of picnic tables too.
There are various entrances to the Arboretum around the perimeter.
Check before you travel to decide which entrance and parking area will suit you, but note that there is only one on-site free car park which is located on Broadway North.

I was visiting the Arboretum for a Classic Car show, so I only saw the main area.
But I liked what I saw, it seemed well kept and quite green following the recent heavy rain and I would like to return another time and have a proper look around.

Hands down the only and best place in the whole of the Walsall Borough (until they open up a Dunkin' Donuts). Used to live nearby and had no garden, so this place became a second home in the summer (plus it has ducks).

The main area is near a very busy main road which is noisy. Evening time there are a lot of people simply hanging about. The cafe is very mediocre and has a very limited menu. It isn't really an arboretum just a large urban park

Beautiful, well kept park. Nice place to take fanily walks and photos. Has a lake/pond inside the park: very relaxing and picturesque. During the summer time, there is a splash pad for kids: highly recommend! Kids and adults both loved it! Decent play area for kids too.

Very huge area and good place to play! Has a small waterpark equipped!
I'll do more review soon!

Restrooms: Restrooms are very bad. I think they are never cleaned. Although you can still do some of your private stuff I'd not reccomend to go there.

Picnic area: Picnics areas are not specific as you can sit anywhere for picnics. Very calm and relaxing although kids are playing around.

A very nice place to walk, an unexpected sanctuary in an urban area, I hadn’t realised this was here. The lake is lovely and there’s a café selling nice tea and cakes.
