I like to come here to get a bit of cycling done after work. During these winter months it's rather dark when I get home, but the park is adequately lit. It is also very quiet as all the amenities are closed during the late hours.

Gorgeous park. My eldest loves the splash pad, whilst my toddler loves the slides. They have something for all ages. I hadn't been since I was young and was shocked at how much it's changed.....definitely for the better. Parking is all the way at the one end of the park, which is quite far if you have trouble walking, but there is a land train available. Not sure it the train is there all the time though. Perfect for bike rides or a nice stroll.

The Arboretum could have easily been left and forgotten but somebody in Walsall council had a head rush and came up with a good idea (rare I know) of investing money in it, and it's paid off, it's clean and pleasant to be in, safe as anywhere can be these days, the only negative is the cafe, although very nice food and friendly staff the purchasing process is painfully slow leading to long queues quite regularly.

Very enjoyable with plenty of good walkways with clean surfaces (odd one a little muddy), but most tarmac.
Would imagine it would be even better in the late spring / summer.

Cold crisp morning. But lots of people about, there were people with kids, dogs runners. The ducks, geese ect were a big attraction

I went for a walk around the Walsall Arboretum to get some exercise and fresh air. It was very peaceful. There are many paths and play areas. There is a tennis court, bowling green, outside exercise apparatus, boating pool, children's playground and a restaurant. There is a bandstand and lots of seating around the park. It would be a great place in summer for a picnic. Take your camera and walking shoes!

Really good sized town park with play areas a tourist information area with a cafe. Not sure what the cafe is like.
There is often something on one week to the next. But also a nice walk. Parking is limited but there are some free spaces. However they are time limited and warden patrolled.

This place has a lot in. Half turn for skaters. Kiddy play area with a splash pool. Lake with paddle boats. Open air gym. Wild fields. feildsTennis courts. Picnic benches. A concrete path around. A cafe. Open grass area for anything.
Because of all this, it is usually busy.
Parking near the kids play area can be an issue.
But it's a great park to go to.

Very underrated park. Huge so never crowded. Nice cycle tracks. The park area gets a little busy in holiday periods but hey you gotta expect that. You can easily while away half a day here.

Lovely grounds, with great Park and small water park. There's a lovely lake with ducks and large Swan boats that you can hire out for a fee. A small cafe where you can get light snacks, hot/cold drinks with toilet facilities. Great for a dog walk too! You'd never think you were in the centre of walsall. Free parking - 2 hrs at the side of the road or unlimited on the big stoned car park off The Broadway.
