This is a wonderful place to walk, cycle, relax and drink in some wonderful views. Proud it's in my home town of Walsall. Where the lakes are is beautiful but don't forget the lido and further on the dog and cycle walk. Which from the Arboretum brings you out on the Sutton Rd right by the Longhorn pub!

We had a great day in the arboretum. It was very frosty, so looked beautiful. My grandson played on climbing equipment and swings. He loved being spun round on the roundabout. I had taken sweetcorn peas and porridge oats to feed the ducks and swans. We had fun looking at the different birds and talking about them . He shared the food with a little girl to feed birds. It was a happy learning morning in this beautiful park. We went to see the bandstand, that we've seen several bands on. It was lovely and clean. No rubbish about. It was great to see so many people wrapped up warm on this cold and frosty morning.

This is a wonderful Arboreetum 1/2 a mile from the town centre, it is marvellously maintained with a lot of love and care. There is a traditional Victorian park area with two pools one of which has pedalos for sale. Lots of water fowl, glorious gardens and a wonderful array of trees throughout. There is also a recently refurbished kiddies play area (dog-free) which is extremely popular as well as facilities for teens - basketball/five a side court, tennis courts, bowls green, football pitches and a 'circuit training' style area, There is grandstand used for varied musical offerings in the summer. Extensive areas for picnicking, walking and towards the rushall canal there are grassed, woodland and emerging woodlands. Its a great day out for the family and in addition various events are held throughout the year including fairs a circus and a number of local festivals.

Following the refurb, (part EU funded), this park is now back to it's former glory. It's now well planted, well kept, and the paths are clean and clear. The kids play area is much better. All in all a great asset to Walsall. Coffee shop is good too!

A lovely little part of Walsall but the centre was closed. As an escape from the busy high street this is worth a visit

Cycled around the park. Very pretty. Not unexpectedly, some very beautiful trees. I am told the weekend fun run around the park is very well organised.

Visited here with my wife Glenys and granddaughter Lucy on a lovely spring day. It is an excellent park that is well looked after and the residents of Walsall should be proud off it. Lovely walks and a whole cross section of society using it. My only reservation is the cafe. When we visited it for lunch quite a few items on the menu where not available. The service was to say the least, underwhelming. We sat outside making the most of the sunshine and our meals were bought to us without any cutlery. When we asked about the cutlery we where told that 'it was inside' Staff who serve with a modicum of enthusiasm would help. However iI didn't spoil our visit
and we will visit again. Lucy aged one and a bit agreed.

Victorian park and extensions. Loads of variety, short walks, long walks; something for every one. Lakes with ducks and swans to entertain the children, and extensive children play-area. Cafe for coffee and snacks, toilet facilities, beautiful gardens, fresh air and relaxation. Quiet areas, if required. Access from all areas, with car parking nearby.

Lots of towns should be extremely jealous of this wonderful area in Walsall. Fantastic Victorian park covering many many acres with wonderful lakes, trees and flowers. Up until recently it used to host the illuminations which would attract thousands to come and visit over the period it was on.
It still hosts circuses, fairs and specific events and is a great place to take the family
