There is no shortage of things to do at the Arboretum, from feeding the ducks and taking a boat out on the lake to admiring the array of flowers and trees, and a great play area for the younger members of the family. Nice cafe too. Especially worth visiting when there is some event on in the extension area (and they have plenty during the summer months)

Arboretum is always a good option for a family day out. Good park and the new peddle boats on the lake. Lots of do and many pokemon stops and gyms ;).

I love coming here for a walk. The park is vast and now having a coffee shop and plenty of entertainment throughout the year for families. There is table tennis, a mini tennis court, fitness area, football and much more as well as the lovely walk round the lake. Something for all whether going alone, as a family, a picnic. A beautiful vast garden right on our door step, use it frequently.

Arrived 4:45 so unfortunately kids had little time to enjoy the splash pad which is turned off at 5pm. Good variety of playground equipment and parking was fine.
Will be returning earlier next time!

Havnt been to Walsall arboretum for many years. Had a great day out. Walsall council should be very pleased on creating a joy for families.
The splash park is lovely and free. The ordinary park has a good array of well kept equipment. The skate park and basket ball court kept the older boys amused.
Even had a ride in the pedalos on the duck pond for a small fee.
The gardens were well kept and clean.
Nice day out for us all. 2 adults with a 3 year old. 11 and 14 year old.

We had a lovely day here. Parking is free, we brought a picnic, blanket and swimming costumes for the children and enjoyed the sun in the splash park. It was busy but we were able to find a nice spot to sit and people were friendly. We got here for about 12.

Only downside was the water was turned off at about 2:45. Not sure if this is regular as it's our first time here but seems silly to turn it off for the hottest part of the day.

I really love this park. It's really beautiful and well maintained. It's great for taking a stroll and also lots for kids to see and do. One of favourite parks within the west mids.

pleasent enough for local people but not worth traveling too if you don't live there. Its just a park after all. A recent upgrade of some of the facilites but not that improved. Gardens are well kept, you can go fishing or boating on the lake, though nobody was there on my day there. No shelter if it rains.Good for joggers as its safe and kept clean. Good for dog walkers. A small play area for the kids and thats about it. The Walsall illuminatons are long gone along with the tennis courts, golf course, animals attractions from yesteryear. same old story council hasn't got the money to turn it into a proper attraction.

This park is a beautiful place to visit for a stroll round the lake, take the children to the play area or a longer walk to the extension. A lovely cafe with a very interesting visitor centre. We should be very proud of it. Well done to everyone concerned.

I went on a led bike ride with Bikeright this afternoon. I've never been there before .
I was very pleasantly surprised at how big the area is, and how many different things there are to do for all ages.
Pedalos on the lake, a land train, tennis courts, play ground, water sprays for the children, "church in the park" was setting up.
Would definitely come again.

Brilliant for families for a lovely walk round the lake & take in the brilliant light show & the lazor lights in the lake. Parking is in a nearby carpark & a bus takes you to the entrance. Well recommended for a good family night out. Only thing that spoils it for me is the prices for the food.

for the more mature of us it's just nice to get out and have a walk around this park,
plenty of seating to people watch.

Excellent. So much for young ones in the play area, as well as lots of open space. Very clean and a great way to spend a day out with all the family.

This place is lovely for young kids in fact there's something for everyone.

It's a mint day out that has minimal costs.

It's easy to find located near the town Center there's adequate easy parking in the car park provided and also has throughout the year brilliant events like fairs classic car shows and fireworks too

There are other attractions close by too including food places

A very old established park near to Walsall town centre. It has a children's play area, boating lake or if you prefer big open grassed area's. Good for walking or just sitting down to relax. At the top end of the park is where the big events are held.

Visited here with my 2 children, I have been here quite a few times now, red hot day, absolutely packed out, find a spot by the splash pad, but just a bit difficult to keep your eye on both children at the same time, but all the same a great free day out if you ever got the weather!
Toilets aren't great, but I think they have always been the same way, there is now a cafe and Swan pedalos but haven't used either as I think the pedalos are quite expensive for the time you have, and I've heard the cafe is as well, but still I have always liked the arboretum and I'm sure I'll go back there many tines over the coming years.
