Kids loved the water fountains. This place is huge - we didn't see much of it despite being there for an hour.

Great oasis to relax in. Lovely food, reasonably priced in the cafe. Three of us had a two course lunch with drinks and a side for £19! Lovely park, water park is fabulous for younger kids. Full playpark, Dotto land train between sections snd plenty of parking. Accessible for wheelchairs and prams. Bring spare table tennis bats and balls as outdoor tables are available to use too for free.

Small charge for water zorbing, bungee jumping in harness and funfair rides - tokens only. £5 for 12 which covers both zorbing and bungee jumping.

Loved it!!!!

You can easily spend a great couple of hours just walking through the Arboretum. Beautiful scenery and a lovely quiet walk, even though not far from a busy main road.

Looking for som where to go while we wee driving in Walsall we came across this place so decided we would pay it a quick visit to see. About 3 hours later we left! It is full of all sorts of different park areas from open grass land to tiered landscaping. There is a lake there with assorted birds nesting on which you can hire pedalo's to go around. We chose the giant swan.

My husband and I took 2 of our grandchildren aged 6 and 7 to the arboretum, our first visit for at least 15 years since our own children were young. It was always worth a visit then but we were pleasantly surprised with the improvements. A lovely play ground with a splash area and a nice new cafe. We only had a drink so can't comment on the food. The swan pedalos were very expensive, 2 adults and 2 children cost £12:00 for 15 minutes so not an experience we would repeat. The gardens were lovely, all in all well worth a visit.

Great day out for kids, couples and family's. It is lovely on a hot summers day with ice cream vans and splash areas and good climbing park areas. Beautiful for having a walk in however I still think it would be better if the arboretum lights was bought back.

Excellent morning in the playground area. 3 hours of fun. Lots to do but the water park area was a winner. Fountains of different heights. Our granddaughter (6) spent 3/4 of an hour splashing around. There is an area for toddlers. No one over 12 is allowed on the equipment. There was a first aid post. The burger bar was reasonably priced as were drinks hot or cold. Plenty of seating with tables. The toilet facilities are excellent and kept exceptionally clean through the day.
Certainly worth visiting but be prepared for it bring busy.

Lovely sunny day and we decided to walk the dogs where there is lots of space
The sun was shining and as we continued to walk we came across a gospel band singing on a stage in the park.
We grabbed an ice cream and continued to wonder through the park.
Great park for families , couples young or old.
Perfect local free place to visit

I visited here for the first with my three year old on a sunny day. The splash park is great fun and the water has chlorine so it is clean, it's a great day out I shall be visiting more often.

I cannot believe how this park has revitalised itself.fabulous place. Even the ice cream man wasn't expensive, only thing was we paid for my grandchildren to go on the minion slide...the girl in kiosk advs the Minion head wasn't able to go into...so why wasn't the price reduced..I honestly never thought to ask at the time but didn't think she could Authorise!,, what the council need to do is lower the little fair prices and more people would go on it! Also there were 4 children on the minion slide for 5!minutes in a shower and the lad actually said after 5 minutes that's it come off now..... For goodness sake there was not a queue he should have left them on till they got fed up... Good day though

The long awaited cafe is now open and its just perfect, the Arboretum is looking fantastic.
Its a shame that a few dog walkers are letting their dogs foul on the footpaths, Come on people don't spoil it for others - clean up after your pet, you have a nice place to walk your pet..

Perfect for a run a walk or even a picnic, lovely water feature for the kids to play in and a boating pool. Fabulous play area too, with plenty of space to run around.

The upgraded Arboretum is lovely. The Visitor Area and Cafe add so much, as does the adjacent new garden. The "swans"on the lake and the new road train are great additions for families. The park has everything from lake and formal gardens, semi rural walkways and then the fully rural extension taking you to Sutton Road or the Wyrley & Essington Canal.

Great Park to walk your dog's. . With so many different walks to choose from.

You can take a path walk ( suitable for wheelchairs or push chairs), or a wild, muddy ramble across the old golf course that has been left to grow wild, and has had new trees planted to make into wooded areas.
There is a cafe, childs play area with splash zone, boating lake and a band stand that had regular music events held at it!!
Close to the middle of Walsall, you you can go buy refreshments... or pick up things for a picnic... but please. . Take your rubbish home with you!!

Beautiful and big park. Surprisingly well looked after considering how big it is. Park and water area for kids while the adults sneak a cheeky ice cream. Often has events and promotes dog walking and health activities. There's a new cafe type area now which still needs updating but they're still working on it. The place deserves a green flag!

The arboretum is an oasis of green space close to the town centre. It's undergoing improvement works at the moment, with a new visitor centre and refurbished boat house. It's a fantastic place that the town is rightly proud of.

Beautiful park. A credit to Walsall - particularly a credit to the park staff who work hard to keep it looking superb.
Recent lottery funded improvements have enhanced the park immensely. money well spent.
New visitor centre and very nice cafe add to the ambience. Nice outdoor terrace - great for dog walkers.
One of best childrens' play areas I have ever seen - including new "watersplash" facility.
Regular programme of events in the park and the bandstand.
All round, well worth a visit.

Beautiful gardens, large open spaces, 2 lakes (one where fishing is allowed, permits available), a new visitor center with cafe and a lovely play park with water play fountains for the little ones, skateboard area for the older ones, tennis court, and plenty of places to walk and play. All in all a very nice place for all the family to enjoy.
