it is a very relaxing place with plenty to enjoy, just a shame there is so much building work going on but I look forward to returning for the illuminations!

We were taken for a walk here by friends and were really impressed. A stream wanders through the wilder part, There is ample space for football or picnics and a really well equipped children's playground. The walk round the 'lakes' formed by limestone quarrying is interesting because of the bird life. The bandstand, newly repainted, is a gem and concerts are put on there. The only thing missing for me was some information about the trees in the substantial aboretum. But if you are there at the right time there is a one hour guided walk.

The people of Walsall have a real asset here. Well done to the council!

Visited with my young daughter to play in the water park. They have really done a great job, lots of play areas for kids of all ages and the water area is a lot of fun. There are swings, slides, climbing frames,a zip wire, ice cream seller which is nice in the hot weather. There is a small room that can be hired for parties along with the water park. There is also a man who acts as a first aider / security who watches over the area which is nice for piece of mind. Take a walk through the park also some nice picnic areas. Only down side is the toilets which are horrid.

A lot of time and money has been spent on the rejuvenation of this wonderful park. Now almost complete apart from the Visitor Centre which is currently under construction this Walsall attraction is not to be missed if visiting the area.

Had a walk around Walsall Arboretum the other day. Enjoyed walking beside the lake, I extended my walk to the nearby canals! I found the remains of a miniature railway, it's a shame its closed because this would be a nice addition to a very nice place!

A beautiful large Victorian garden, which has undergone extensive restoration in 2013/2014. Extensive public areas for walking through immaculate formal gardens. Large paved paths make it ideal for children with or without bikes, dog walking permitted. 2 large lakes, well-stocked with ducks and fish, with side paths containing small "fairy style" bridges, perfect for Pooh Sticks.
A well-equipped large children's play area, skate park and basketball areas make it very popular for families and teenagers. Tables for picnics, and lots of benches available to sit and take in the view.
Ideal for a sunny afternoon.
Additional improvements are being made to food outlets, and the boathouse will soon be restored so you can hire a row boat.
A hidden gem, and a complete surprise for those southerners convinced there's no greenery anywhere north of Watford Gap.
