It's been a few years since I've shopped here, just down to convenience really. When I heard a friend mention he was going I decided to tag along being as though i had an extended Xmas lunch.
I was only planning on picking up some sausage, that was until I saw the vast array of meats and pastries.
I ended up buying 2 lovely minted lamb shanks and a bag of homemade beef burgers.
I'm planning on cooking me and my dad a couple of burgers when I get home . As for the shanks .......well they'll be cooked real slow on Friday ready for the evening.
The shop itself was clean and tidy , plus you could still see through to the back where all the butchery is done.
I'll come back with a review on what the meat was like once I've cooked it. Can't see me being disappointed though.
A week later........beautiful , absolutely delicious . Both the burgers and shanks will become a weekly thing .

One of the best butchers shops in Walsall, meat is always fresh and tasty so is the fruit and veg.
A lot of special offers which bring the overall product price down, it is a little bit more expensive compared to supermarket prices however the quality is 1000 times better.
The staff is great, always welcome you with smile on their face, you can clearly see that they enjoy what they do.
Any request for products which are not available at time of visit will be added if they can find it.

Quality meats at good prices. Barbecue meat choices are great. Cooked meat, pastries, cheese available too. Fruit and vegetables fresh every week. Fantastic butchers and the staff are alright too! 🙄

As a south African with probably hundreds of braai's (BBQ's) under my belt and knowing a thing or two about quality meat. I can honestly say that this is the best butchers in Walsall. The quality of the meat is outstanding they cure they're own bacon and dry age they’re own steak. The Filet and T-Bone steaks are really good and rump is priced very favourably.
