Nice place for a wedding reception. Very heavy on prices. Was not happy when had to pay the round. £20 more than pubs in Ulverston. So consequently won't be going there anytime soon.

We call in here regularly to take advantage of the hospitality, and view the exhibitions that form a feature of the venue. The cafe is one of the few in town that welcome dogs, which is a definite plus point for us. There are several events organised throughout the year - they have just had the annual Apple Day, celebrating all things apple. Facilities of the park include a play area for children, a grassy area for chilling out, a regular Saturday park run for all ages and a weekly car boot sale. All in all, something for everyone to enjoy. Oh, and the food is good - plenty of home-baked cake!

We camped in Ford Park as part of the annual Retro Rendezvous festival and Velo Retro cycle ride. We had such a wonderful warm welcome when we arrived and everything was organised brilliantly. The staff in the cafe were friendly and cheerful each morning and the food and cakes were good. It’s a lovely spot and Ulverston is a great town to visit.

The playground was brilliant for our 7 and 5 year olds. But the 7 year old was desperate to do the orienteering course which seems to be abandoned.

The park itself is a lovely space to bring your kids, walk your dog or just stroll and think and enjoy the surroundings. The cafe is a lovely, cosy space to enjoy a snack or a lunch with friends and family. Dog friendly too! Menu is good and quality is excellent. Lots of beautiful art work to enjoy while you eat as well. My local! Love it!

Lovely park, nice to wander round the nursery and then walk up the Hoad. Had a cream tea in the Coach House Cafe which was delicious and a reasonable price of £5.50

Piping in and Piping Hot
The celebration of the Haggis was a total success.
A packed Restaurant was served a real treat by a very competent and lovely staff.
Gluten free and special dishes were available at this charming and hospitable .
Kerry Willison Parry moved the Ode to the Haggis in a wonderful and human manner (with several swirls of the Dagger) after the Mans a man for all that spirit.
Many a "cutty sark" in evidence thank goodness!.
Food as presented to our group of 9 was eaten with glee and well commented upon. Portion size excellent. Lots of spicy haggis and the most wonderful Clanachan trifle to finish.
Good value , good company GOOD Times.
You can eat most days from their welcoming and satisfying menu.
Look them up for a visit to The Festival Town! Free Parking.

A good place to take kids to run about and enjoy themselves. Called into the cafe for lunch which we both thoroughly enjoyed. A nice walk up to the hoad monument to take in the amazing views. Very lucky to have had clear skies on the day. After a walk back down we called into the cafe for ice cream and a much deserved coffee. Would recommend both the cafe and the play area.

Brilliant lantern parade and fire works display. They missed a trick in that they could have had places to eat and maybe a drink"s tent in the park.

Lovely setting, fun garden and cafe. Independent and community focused. My Americano was watery but they agreed and added an extra shot of espresso: all good.

Excellent play park and grounds leading to the monument. Walkway to monument suitable only for able walkers. Would be a struggle with a buggy. Drivable option if arranged in advance. Impressive views from the monument well worth the hike up.
