In an unfortunate beer and accommodation desert for the discerning football fan, this provided a modern and high-quality overnight stay. The superb breakfast buffet was one particular highlight but generally very friendly and professional standards were evident throughout. However a better choice of hand-pulled ales would have been appreciated, as well as less 'lively' beer dispense which slowed down service on a number of occasions. Just open up those taps a bit! Felt sorry for barmaids having to serve multiple pints under that system. The bar manager seemed a bit aloof and not very hands-on in solving those issues.

Great hotel in an offering that's a little bit different from the normal chain hotels. Being attached to a stadium it is a little bit unique and probably a lot more spacious than the 'usual suspect' chain hotels.

I stay here at least a couple of times a month and find the overall hotel experience great. Friendly staff, good quality rooms and excellent service.

Great hotel, very clean, located near train station, shops and food. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast was delicious. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Will stay here again someday.

The only gripe was that the breakfast could have been hotter and there could have been more atmosphere in the hotel bar. There was no backgroud music

Good hotel and facilities. My husband and I stayed here with friends (another couple) and we all had a lovely time. Staff were helpful and nothing too much trouble. Good breakfast too.

Very convenient location for our evening out. All the staff were extremely helpful and very professional. Breakfast was excellent very tasty and plenty of it. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stop here again.

I was working in Manchester and chose to stay in this hotel in order to meet friends who live nearby. In the event I was delighted by its position (very close to the railway station), the excellent food, and the genuine nature of the welcome to a very modern and nicely designed hotel. And it was a bonus that the cost was much less than hotels in Central Manchester, only 30 minutes away.

The rooms where nice with amazing views to over looking the stadium. The staff where great and breakfast was lovely. We travelled to attend a conference, I did find the conference room cold but overall had a great stay.

The hotel looked great from the outside and was pleasant enough. Staff were friendly. Some of the decour and fixtures were a little tired, e.g. the restaurant. This was a business trip and as such I didn't have time to use all the facilities on offer so could not comment these.

We enjoyed a lovely overnight break away. Lovely hotel, great location near the motorway and a big shopping area with cinema. We enjoyed a swim and jacuzzi in the leisure suite, finished off by a lovely meal by Heathcotes. Great way to spoil ourselves before Christmas rush.

Stayed with my partner for one night as a treat, had a lovely relaxing afternoon in the spa and there are numerous restaurants and shops in walking distantance. The staff were very attentive and the breakfast was excellent.

Really enjoyed my time spent here. Staff were really friendly and facilities were clean and assessable. The beds and pillows were really comfortable with a large enough bathroom and room. I found the room.nice and warm and although facing the car Park, really quiet. Would definitely rebook again if back in the area.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable .I am on a strict diet and asked for a small portion and the catering staff were very thoughtful to my needs.I was able to work as internet access was available.

This is my 3rd year at Bolton Whites Hotel for our leadership conference.
The hotel is in a great location for football and shopping, it also has a really good gym and swimming pool. The conference facility's are great.
The staff at the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
My room was a good size, the bed was huge (almost needed a step ladder to get onto it) everything was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was good as ever!

Have been to the stadium a few times but not stayed at the hotel until now.From check In to check out was an excellent experience. All staff we came into contact with were friendly and curtious. Everywhere is immaculately clean with a modern decor. The bedroom was spotless and very comfy. We had breakfast on the two mornings (14 & 15 Nov ) which was lovely. Can safely say that we will be back.

A good hotel in most regards but we lost sleep due to a noisy neighbour. Would go there again but would seek assurances that we are not located next to another noisy guest.

Stayed for business. Hotel was easy to find, good location, not far off the motorway. Rooms were clean and quite nice, food was very good and good value for money. Staff were friendly. Only small issue was the wifi, was a nightmare to get on.

Nice,clean hotel,good location just off the motorway with a massive retail park at the back. On arrival the staff on reception were friendly & polite,rooms were spacious, clean & tidy.
Horwich train station was 200 yards away giving easy access to Bolton then onto Wigan(for the rugby). Hopefully back up in February, will definitely use Bolton White's again. Only problem we had was the fire alarm going off at about 2am,thus my poor score on sleep rating,otherwise I'd have given top marks.

Very convenient hotel. Food in restaurant was excellent. Fire alarm which was a false alarm went off in the middle of the night, we had to walk/ run down 5 flights of stairs, my husband has some mobility issues so we will need to think more carefully when given a room so high up. People were very inconsiderate when going to their rooms in the night/ early morning quite noisy.

Was very impressed with this hotel. Very clean, fantastic staff and great room and bed. I actually couldn't fault it. Best value for money hotel I've ever been. I would happily pay more than £49 per room. I will definitely be back

I made the trip to attend a function and also to see friends. I am from Bolton originally so chose the hotel for its location, near where I was visiting and also near the shops on the Middlebrook.I would certainly come again if I get the opportunity.

Not stopped here since we were married 12 years ago to the day. We had a pitch side view excellent and the room was still in good nick a great sleep in the bed and breakfast was delicious definitely will stop here again.

Came here in June looking for a location to host a conference, being that this great hotel is linked to Boltons football ground made a great spot. Have just held a two day conference and we were not disappointed. The food they served in the day and for the evening event was excellent, if there was one thing that was frustrating but could not be helped, if we needed anything quickly like more tea and coffee it could never be done straight away, because of the distance from kitchen to the premier suite. I stayed for 4 days in the hotel, the service, accommodation and staff were great. If you had a football fanatic in the family was really impressed that some of the hotel rooms faced onto the pitch, see pics added. would not think twice about holding another conference there.
