Very good
Bar was nice - large relaxing area
I stayed here the night before my wedding 10 years ago and not sure it's changed since then. No complaints as such - but would be nice to see a little change in colour etc

Brilliant but room to improve
Excellent room free upgrade, bonus view of the pitch & a game on too. facilities excellent good bed very comfortable.
Couldnt get an evening meal as the game was on. Should be a seperate area that residents can get a meal. Breakfast too expensive !!

Attended 'The Lion of Vienna' suite to donate blood. Free parking in the car park. Toilets were clean and well appointed.
Easy to find and conveniently located just off the M61 motorway. A much nicer venue than usual at a chilly church hall, would go back there again.

Great overnight stay , clean room, good food and great service from reception and bar
Breakfast was great, catered well for both of our likes, lots of choice.
Earlier check in time would have been good, we were attending the game at 3pm which was same time as check in.. staff worked really hard and got us checked in early and gave us a pitch view room too

The staff were friendly and room was comfortable.
Due to it being match day, there was no car park spaces for us to park in as hotel guests. I think there should be a specific section of spaces kept for people staying at the hotel.

It was adequate for an overnight stop.
Room was small - the bed would normally fold up to allow the room to be a supporter's box and, as such the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. The room seemed cramped but it was adequate for an overnight stop.

Perfect!
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (nothing too much trouble). The hotel was spotless. We had lunch in the bar which was very tasty, well presented and good value for money. I would recommend this property to anyone.

requested a bottle of bubbly in my room for my birthday to find banners & a card too! very lovely surprise. Room was ok for the money, curtains didn’t quite reach so room was very light first thing but it was clean & tidy, we also got room service which was lovely!

We liked the pitch view , we liked the breakfast . The covid protection was poor , the rooms were small to what we expected .
No staff other than the male receptionist and breakfast staff wore a mask for protection of covid , the lady on reception told us that we didn’t need to wear a mask when I asked why the majority of staff wasn’t wearing a mask , ( she was actually exempt) from wearing one ) but we felt that the hotel wasn’t keeping to the standards of protection from covid . We was very poor , especially with the amount of guests that would travel through the hotel .
