I have stayed at this hotel when visiting my son since he was 5 years old, he is now 26. I wouldn't
stay anywhere else if heading to greater Manchester. The staff have always been friendly, kind and considerate.
Great bar, good food and great pool.

Very convenient for football and local shopping centre. Good range of choices for breakfast. Good size swimming pool. Changing rooms by pool in need of refurbishment. Spin drier for swimsuits was missing from ladies' changing room. Lockers only took old £1 coins and the leisure reception had run out of tokens, so I couldn't lock up my belongings whilst swimming.

Exceptional The girl on reception was a pleasure to deal with, apologies I cannot remember her name but she lives in Whitefield Nothing

Very friendly staff, breakfast was excellent as were leisure facilities.
Family rooms have had new sofa beds put in which are really comfortable. Very relaxed atmosphere and stay at the hotel. Will definitely book again.

Very comfortable bed, clean, quiet, extremely friendly staff.
Looking forward to staying again.
No struggling for a parking spot.
One disappointment £5 to use the gym.. I think it should be included in the price.

Good central place to stay, Rooms very clean, a little tired but hopefully this will be sorted now that new owners are on board. Staff extremely polite and helpful nothing too much bother. We don't take breakfast as we prefer to eat a little later and there are plenty of places on the retail park to get brunch. Excellent parking, gym and pool available to hotel guests.

Good The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and good quality items. The staff were very friendly. When we arrived at 12.30pm we were told the room was ready but check in wasn't until 2pm. Then we were told that we could check in early for an additional £15. Personally I thought this was a disgrace and would not book this hotel again for that purpose. It was very inconvenient as we were doing hospitality at the football and needed to be there for 1pm.

Wasnt the best experience I had to pay extra money to get a bed after I had requested for one when making my booking. Had to wait so long to be attended to

Great, relaxing and superb value for money. The Hotel is in a great location well situated close to the M6 (North or South) and not to far from Bolton Town Centre. The rooms are modern, clean, and with a great King size bed with Egyptian Cotton Sheets, large bath and shower and spacious with great sound proofing for a good night's sleep. The breakfast is excellent with a very wide choice as is Room Service which we had two nights running! The hotel also has swimming, gym and spa facilities which are also very nice to relax in. Finally, the bar and lounge area are also very nice to spend time in. All in all I think anyone would be hard pushed to find a better place to stay with helpful and friendly staff who can't do enough for you.

Good stay as usual Been staying here since the hotel opened. Always good Some of the new policies regarding payments need to be shared with guests prior to their arrival. We were asked for photo ID as we were paying cash but didn’t know this prior to arriving so we’re not prepared

Stayed here for work. Clean & tidy rooms with everything you need, just a little dated now. No noise, comfy beds & had a great nights sleep. Yummy breakfast. Ate in the restaurant at night & food was delicious - service was a little haphazard as some nights we got table service & others we ordered at the bar! All staff were amazing, friendly & kind

Very spacious room and huge comfortable bed. Haven't slept so well in ages. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of it although coffee could have been a lot hotter. Didn't get chance to use pool and spa as fell back to sleep after breakfast in bed. Would definitely recommend.

Staff are very pleasant and helpful. But this place needs some TLC. Chairs and sofas need a bloody good clean. Bar tables all chipped. Room with no air con. Instead have two oil filled radiators and a huge fan! No floor space left.
The gym is really tired. Lockers all broken. Half can be fixed with a screwdriver. It is some stuff to make this place nice again.

The hotel feels old. Rooms are a good size but the windows let through quite the draft. No sockets by the bed for charging. Wifi is a joke so if you plan to do work, reconsider
Breakfast was ok

We stayed here as part of an extended trip to see family is Horwich. We got a suite with plenty of room for my toddler, for VERY reasonable prices. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were a bit dated in terms of design, but clean and we'll maintained. Lost a star for the elevator being out our entire stay, meaning we had to hoof a car seat and stroller upstairs every time we want out, haha.

Friendly helpful staff and the lady in reception even helped me with my cufflink. Professional customer service my only problem was the very cold room. The two electric radiators just didn't warm the room space . I kept walking because of the cold room

Super friendly and hospitable staff, but the cleanliness of the lobby, and general areas does not reflect the room experience.
I have previously stayed at stadium hotels in milton keynes and norwich, and was mildly impressed with the facilities there. This was not the case in Bolton.
I'm not the world's most seasoned traveler, but travel for work on every now and then. I also believe in supporting the hotels over booking sites, as it's layered with additional fees and cutthroat margins. The check in experience through the website was clunky, as it was not made clear that the 'booking' was only a reservation, despite all of the buttons on the website clearly labeled 'BOOK NOW'.
Only after waiting in the lobby for 10-15 minutes, did the hostess behind the desk suggest that I could go to my room while they sent an email to the finance department of my office to sign a third party authorisation to charge the room. Despite the card details filled out on the website during booking already being on file? Very curious process. Awkward and unprofessional.
It could just be that after sitting on a crowded train for hours, that I wasn't in the best frame of mind at the time, but it was an unnecessary level of bewilderment that I was met with, when I asked for clarification on why exactly the reservation was not paid for during the booking process, as if I was the frst person to ever become confused at this.
As a side note, the website does not provide any options or information on breakfast options at time of booking (excuse me...reservation), forcing me to email and add this option to my reservation. This does not scream professionalism.
On a more positive note; The breakfast sausages were some of the best i've ever had at a breakfast buffet in a hotel. Meaty, flavoursome and delicious, would definatley eat them again!

Average only just. Was probably nice when it was built but dated now. Not sure about the lifts as they drop off on a floor then you have to go up or down stairs to get to your room.
