Have had a number of very pleasant stays at this hotel, the staff on arrival are very helpful, the rooms very comfortable and the bar and restaurant staff are very attentive and friendly.
Have no hesitation in recommending Whites Hotel.

Perfect for Bolton Wanderers supporters who live too far away to attend a match and then make the trip home. We checked in had dinner and a few drinks took our seats in the stadium to watch our team play, then the short walk back to the hotel , a nightcap in the bar and a great nights sleep. Excellent buffet breakfast next morning.

Efficient and friendly service. Use of small gym a bonus before venturing out to local pub. Avoid shopping/retail park as once in there it's difficult to escape on foot.

Good breakfast and space to catch up with messages and/or read papers.

I arrived very late and the staff were so helpful - sent someone up to help when the door key didn't work, then sorted the issue without me having to go back down to reception. The bar was about to shut but they arranged for me to have a jug of iced water. When I needed a document printed out they were very happy to help. The breakfast was great - a really good, fresh selection. I didn't have a chance to try out all the facilities but they looked first rate. I would definitely stay again and would recommend. EF, Beds

Lovely Hotel and staff, not busy when I went and so I had the pool and Sauna all to my self.
The room was good with a comfy bed and choice of pillows and the complimentary toiletries smelled great. Food was delicious.

We stay here quite a lot as family live nearby. Each visit tends to go downhill a bit further. Easter weekend the hotel was practically taken over by parties of children who were running around the bar and going up and down in the lifts. We had planned to eat here but went elsewhere as not very relaxing and nowhere suitable to sit for dinner as the area had been cordoned off for those groups... what about the other guests and what happened to the lovely brasserie menu? I would still return to this hotel as the staff are generally good and the location suits us however if there was somewhere local with a better restaurant and nicer rooms I would give that a try currently as the rooms are tired. I just hope that if bolton get promoted the hotel will improve!

Travelling with 30 teenagers from Australia and we are amongst the best behaved people in the hotel- young children from other groups are allowed to run wild through all areas of the hotel, people in the bar area move couches to block fire doors which open into corridors to rooms, and all of this occurs without any interference from hotel staff.
Rooms are comfortable, and a fair size, but facilities are basic (eg only soap provided in the bathroom, no fridge or safe in room).
The hotel staff I have dealt with have been polite and accommodating of any requests, and while they are not responsible for other patrons' behaviour, I feel they should intervene when that behaviour potentially hinders others' safety.

I didn't see anyone to hold my luggage. And the carpet's room is very old.
Also the toilet needs to change.
When I booked the room I ordered the view in stadium but when I get my room the view was in the parking car.!!

We would always choose this hotel first over any other in the area as it Ticks all our boxes. Rooms are spacious, airy and comfortable, equipped as you would expect for a hotel of its standing. Can be traffic noise if a light sleeper but get used to it. Staff here are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The lounge area is a very pleasant space and there is plenty of comfortable seating. Beds are very comfortable with lovely pillows.

The rooms were very clean, the hotel was very good value for money ,the location is excellent. The free onsite parking is a bonus. The shopping centre is only a stones throw away. I would definitely return to this hotel again.

Stayed just 1 night on business. Swimming pool is so warm! Changing rooms are small but of a reasonable standard. The Jacuzzi is not working but Sauna and Steam Room are, water fountain poolside also.
Staff are always excellent which makes up for slightly tired decor in rooms.
Excellent breakfast huge choice. Quick check in and out.
I will stay again

Stayed here a few weeks back. The rooms are dated, but the view of the pitch is great.
The hotel its self is nice, but Breakfast was average.
Good location though, close to motorway network and staff seemed friendly enough.
I will stay here again when in the area

What a brilliant room I had, right behind the goal with an amazing view of the pitch. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of free parking.

I really want to stay again on a match day.

This was a second visit to Bolton Whites - always a great location for travelling into Manchester for business as Horwich Parkway is so close by. Friendly welcome and helpful service. Rooms a little in need of a refresh. Good choice at breakfast but quite pricey for this genre of hotel, at £12.50. Very comfortable bed, and free wifi appreciated.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, handy for shops. When we visited reception at any time they were friendly and welcoming and also happy to supply extra tea and coffee on request . The motorway is nearby and also The Middlebrook shopping centre just around the corner

All the facilities that I used were great would have been nice to be told that the Jacuzzi was not working. The only down fall I had was the location of the Hotel not enough signage or any indication that it is situated within the Football Stadium.

Another very enjoyable stay spent here for 2 nights over the Christmas period. We had two rooms booked and both were cosy, warm and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were as helpful as always. Very handy for the Middlebrook shops and no problem parking - even on match days! My only grumble is that while there we re-booked for end of June and were offered complimentary upgrades to deluxe rooms. While this was a very kind offer, we could only accept it for one of the rooms as the other required room is a twin room and there are NO twin bedded deluxe rooms. WHY?! Yet again, we miss out being singletons. A bit annoyed as it's me that organises the bookings each time yet I lose out!

The staff are always very friendly, the breakfast is superb & the hotel is spotless. There is a nice swimming pool & jacuzzi, a gym which I haven't used & there is plenty of parking. The only negative is that some of the soft furnishings Ned refurbished, but this doesn't spoil the visit to the hotel.

Very nicely appointed hotel and good value for money. Attached to the macron stadium. Lots of eating places within walking distance if you don't want to eat in hotel. Close to Bolton which is easily reached by car or on train. Shopping complex next door.

Modern, friendly, great atmosphere, plenty to see and do inside and outside of the hotel. Pitch view rooms are worth paying the extra. Easy parking outside the door. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and If I was looking again for a hotel in or around Bolton then this would be top of my list.

This hotel suited me because the event I was attending was next door. I booked and asked to make sure that other guests I'd booked had booked in no problems when checking in as previous visits they had been asked to. This happened again to one guest, but I have to say the receptionist was very good and made sure my remaking guests were happy & not asked for payment again.
All in all convenient and comfortable

Good weekend. Had a great sleep in a nice room, bar was abit pricey but was expected, also had a pool sauna and steam room which was good. Stay every 6 months due to a Thai boxing show held nearby. I would recommend this hotel
