our one night stay completely served the purpose that we required
the room was clean and fresh breakfast was excellent and the booking in and out simple and fast.
good value for money
(given that the reason for our visit was to attend a funeral it would however be an advantage if the hotel could offer a guarantee of early access to rooms for such circumstances)

This is one of the best hotels we have visited in the UK I would recommend to everybody great views of the football pitch. All the staff that we met were helpful and nothing was to much for them to help us on our visit.

Love staying here, excellent value and very helpful staff. Restaurant is great and breakfast is one of the best. Can't wait to come back! Pool is a great place to get away and relax. Rooms are welcoming and always spotless

Great place to stay, loved the fact that there is a good shopping area and eating places 10 mins walk or drive at the rear of the hotel and a car boot gn Sundays
Great shopping in town. Hotel not serviced by any public transport, a little disappointing. Loads of car parking in town

Stayed Saturday 2 July 2016.
Great value for money at £50 for room and £10 each for breakfast.
Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. Lovely setting, not too bright. Relaxing.
Great attentive staff throughout.
Comfortable clean rooms and quiet. We were in room 420.
Only gripe was room service was extortionate at £9.50 for a toastie! It was 3am and not sure how this price fairs with other hotels, but just be mindful of prices.
Would highly recommend though and we would definitely stay again!

Excellent accommodation and catering. Do be aware if you have young children that they are not allowed in the pool until 9 am which makes time a bit tight for breakfast. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

The Bolton Whites hotel was amazing. From the moment i arrived to the time I checked out I was impressed. The service by the staff was excellent, the room was large and very clean with a desk for computer use, the bar was ideal for a drink and food, and the shower in the room was powerful and really hot. The icing on the cake was a heated mirror in the bathroom which made shaving much easier. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

All room seem the same, we've stayed on the 2nd floor twice, once with a pitch view, which was nice but no different. The hotel is well situated for the motorway but no trouble with traffic noise, a good stop over when heading North or south. Breakfast is very good as is the service. The room cost varies and on some nights cheaper than the premier inn across the road, if you just fancy a night away this is a bonus.

Swimming pool was great and family friendly, However hotel loses 2 stars for:
1. Incorrect food order which meant food was delivered to the room 3 times before it was correct!
2. On the first night, residents were so noisy they woke up our little toddler which meant none of us had a good night's sleep
3. Extortionate charge of £10 per person for breakfast when Harvester (in walking distance) only charges £3 - £8

Second time we have stayed and it has not put us off staying here again!

Great hotel and great new year venue. Great staff too. The entertainment was great for all the family and the food, particularly breakfast was delicious. The rooms were spotless and housekeeping staff couldn't do enough for us.

Good location, just off the motorway and adjacent to the train station.

Even had time for a little shopping on the Middlebrook shopping precinct 👍🏼

Fantastic stay at a really good hotel. Staff were very good but the room had everything, including a great bed. There was nothing I would have changed, as it was that good. BBreakfast was also of a high standard with great options, including glutenfree, it made a change to find a hotel who offered glutenfree options on room service as well. 5 star stay.

Stayed a couple of times recently, I do like it here.

Rooms are relatively spacious, light and airy. There are several grades of room and the better the grade the larger the room and some have views of Bolton Wanderers football pitch.

Actually ventured in to the leisure club for the very first time and although quite compact the facilities are excellent. The wet area comprised a swimming pool, sauna, steam room and a Jacuzzi.

With a hotel of this quality there are several dining experiences, a formal restaurant, room service and service in the first floor lounge bar, I opted for the latter and ordered a duck and hoisin sauce pizza. extremely tasty, the 'worst part' was it was huge and could easily have fed a family of four! Presentation is excellent too,

I stayed at this hotel whilst on a business trip. The staff were warm and friendly, especially the concierge he was lovely and really bubbly, I'd had a rubbish day and he instantly brightened it up! I ordered room service breakfast which unfortunately arrived 10mins late, before I had chance to say a word they told me that they had waived the price of the breakfast and room service charge. I ate dinner in the bar restaurant and the food was not only delicious and well presented but it was also incredibly reasonably priced. I would recommend staying here. I would definitely stay again! :)

Arriving here is a little like going back in time to the 1980's. The decor is terribly dated, in need of some serious TLC and a good clean. Check in was very slow, although very pleasant service. Room (Penthouse Suite) was freezing cold on arrival, and whilst pretty large was again furnished from the remnants of car boot sale. Bar service was slow, young staff far too busy amusing themselves to care. I got the impression that few people would come here twice, mainly passing through for events and football, so nobody really interested in making any kind of impression. You'd be better off staying at the Premier Inn across the road.

Stayed here for the night with my partner.. The Hotel was of high standard with welcoming and helpful staff in all areas.. We enjoyed the bar area with comfortable seating and wall mounted TV's. Our room was of a standard type but very comfortable with ample space, bed, and seating, the bathroom was of nice style and TV, tea, coffee making facilities were all of high standard...perfectly clean throughout. Morning breakfast in the dining room was lovely with plenty of food and drink to choose from.. A very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend... 5*

Friendly & helpful staff at check in. Walking from the station it might have been helpful for a sign pointing the way to the hotel once you were at the stadium. I really liked my room with full length doors looking over the pitch. I found the bed firm but comfortable. The room was scrupulously clean, the shower was powerful & the temperature easy to control. I used the gym which was small but perfectly adequate. The room service meal arrived quickly & breakfast was good with hot & cold choices. All in all I would recommend staying here.

I stopped for a business lunch here today.
Modern bar style restaurant.Simple but interesting menu.Fairly unfriendly staff.I wanted a quick meal between meetings. It took 30 mins to produce the house burger!it was good when it came. However with a diet coke £15 20 was very expensive. The seating was uncomfotable .It would not be my fist choice for a quick snack .

It's a nice comfy hotel, but wouldn't pay full price.

Pros.. Foods good, rooms are nice
Cons..To expensive unless you manage to get et a cheap deal when not in the foot ball season!

Stuck in the middle of nowhere!

Multimedia in the rooms could be better (like in the new Premium Inn rooms)

Really nice hotel, stayed here many times over the last few years. Really clean and spacious rooms and friendly staff. The location is good as there is middleBrook retail park behind it so is good to go round the shops or out for a meal and drinks.

Nice entrance great location if you are a footy fan as the hotel is built into the stadium . However the rooms are a little tired . The pool and Leasure facility needs a compleat overhaul.
Easy access surrounded by restaurants free and ample parking . Close to motorway .
