Welcoming staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a nice hotel to stay in Bolton. Rooms and leisure facility slightly outdated but as long as you're not expecting 5 star luxury then its great. A repeat guest.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel, lots of parking and easy to find. I wish I had been in it for longer! My room was clean and comfortable, the shower was excellent and I noticed ironing facilities, trouser press and a selection of beverages with the kettle. The bed was really comfortable and I enjoyed a very nice breakfast. Happy days - the window opened too!

Fabulous hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choice. We travelled from Retford to attend my niece's wedding nearby. I would recommend staying here.

The hotel is well situated. On arrival we were checked in with no delay and the receptionist was very helpful regarding the local area, and hotel facilities. The penthouse suite was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent all cooked fresh and not to be missed. The only small criticism the sofa in the room was a bit worn . Will stay again

The Bolton Whites hotel is situated just off the M61 hunch makes it a great location for business meetings.
The car park is huge, probably to accommodate the football visitors traffic.
Bolton Whites reception is very impressive and the staff are very friendly.
On most occasions I have used the upstairs lounge area for informal business meetings. Many of the occasional tables are situated against floor to ceiling windows, which gives lovely natural light.

The staff in the lounge are very attentive and happy bring a constant supply of beverages, water & snacks.

I had a wonderful time with my daughter here. We used the leisure facilities while we stayed there and found them to be very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was nicely cooked and set us up for the day.

I stayed here on a business trip for a week. I had been dreading a week away from home but the staff I met were so friendly and made my stay an absolute pleasure. Never before have I stayed at a hotel where the restaurant manager for breakfasts ensured my decaf tea greeted me as I entered the room! The evening manager was just as attentive and ensured my decaf latte was made to perfection!
On a more serious note, my room was completely adequate for a weeks need and I used the spa facilities nightly. Parking was plentiful, no passes or tokens needed. I hope to be booked in here again and happily recommend this hotel 😊

Elegant and corporate hotel with full amenities (gym etc.) Staff were all very friendly and the restaurant food was tasty and well prepared. The only nag I have is that (in common with many hotels of this type these days), there is a plethora of loud wall mounted TVs in the bar an lounge area which can be very distracting if you want to chat with friends and colleagues. Bolton town centre is just over 5 miles - which is about a 90 minutes walk, or 15 by taxi.

We booked the venue to hold a charity ball. Food was amazing staff amszing and the whole experience including the penthouse rooms where fantastic. I would highly recommend Bolton Whites for a stay but even more so for their rooms for events.

This is an amazing place to stay. We had a pitch view room and it was fantastic. All staff were great. Food prices a bit steep but lots of choice a short walk away. Would stay again. Breakfast was £10 each even for the kids which was a lot but there is a harvester across the road.

For the price it was perfect for our night after visiting Parklife. It is a lovely hotel we were pleasantly surprised as we weren't expecting something on this scale for the money. I've only given it 3 stars because regardless off the amount of alcohol we had consumed neither of us slept the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were way too hard so was impossible to get comfortable. That said we would come back to stay over if we were in the area. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food but it did smell good as we were leaving.

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel as we needed to be in the area for a christening. It was a good choice in terms of value for money, location, & service.
Whilst it was meant purely as a place to sleep we ended up having a lovely relaxing afternoon & evening and an impromptu dinner with other members of the family some of whom were not residents.
We were looked after admirably by Adam and his Team - who had anticipated our needs and kindly set us up a table for 8 with a highchair in the brasserie. The service was second to none both in the bar before our meal and at our meal. Food was excellent, as was breakfast the next morning.
The only little grumble was the check-in. I had guaranteed the rooms with credit card and payment was taken on arrival. No mention was made about charging things to our account and I wrongly assumed that a pre-auth for this would have been automatic. This was not the case, nor was anything said about charging F&B items during our stay. My first order of drinks at the bar resulted in me having to go back down to reception to have my card authorised.
All in all, I would choose to stay here again purely as a result of the service we received in the bar and brasserie. The F&B staff were a credit to the hotel and the atmosphere in the bar/lounge relaxing.

Booked here at the last minute (literally) and was glad I did. Was up in the area on business and stayed just the one night. Rooms were well furnished, spacious and spotless. Check in was friendly and efficient. Ate in the restaurant and the food was fantastic as was the service. Buffet breakfast was good too with a varied choice and well cooked. All of this at a very reasonable price! Highly recommended

The staff at this hotel are some of the friendliest people I have ever met they were very helpful always cheerful and very professional. The room was spacious spotlessly clean the bed was very comfortable the pillows were so nice I wanted to bring them home with me (I didn't but was tempted ) the only criticism I would have is that the room was very hot due to the brilliant weather we had while we were there and a fan would have been helpful it may have been available but we did not ask. The hotel is surrounded by so many amenities we were spoilt for choice of places to eat although we did sample the food at the hotel and can confirm it was very good value for money and very tasty.

Stayed for the night in the executive suit. The price I can only guess is purely for the view of the pitch. The rooms could do with a little TLC as the seem quite tired and dated. The rest of the main hotel is well presented and the staff were helpful. Breakfast is a usual buffet style does not warrant almost £20 as in a premier inn you get the same selection for less than half the price. Location good for a wander around the shops. Overall it was an ok hotel but wouldn't be in a rush to return ourselves.

Stayed here to attend a business awards ceremony at the venue.

Overall it was very good, the rooms were nice and the bed comfortable.

1 area I would mention though was that the pool and spa area could have been bigger.

We received a friendly welcome at check in and the communal areas are quite smart.
Our room which had a pitch view was in desperate need of an upgrade. The décor was dated and tired, and quite shabby in places, the bathroom although clean was grim. The bedlinen and towels were all a bit grey.
You can get better quality rooms in chain business hotels, the one thing Whites had above those places is the communal areas and gym facilities but as we were just here for an overnight stay following a function we did not take advantage of these.
