Loved this hotel - check in was easy and made to feel very welcome. The room was spacious and very comfy. Great bar area and had a superb pizza! It was truly delicious! The bar staff could not do enough to help us! It was great to have so many shops a 2 minute walk away!

Spent two nights in the Whites hotel as part of a Christmas present from our kids, taking in the Bolton v Middlesbrough game. We had a really great time, the hotel was fantastic and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Food quality was also good. Best wishes to all at Bolton following all the changes at the club, you deserve to be at the highest level in English football and hospitality. I only marked sleep quality as 4 out of 5 due to a false fire alarm at 1am!

Stayed here with my son on the eve of the Grand National for our annual visit to Aintree - its much too expensive to stay much closer to Liverpool in Grand National week !

All in all we were comfortable although the room we were in and also the leisure complex were fraying a bit at the edges.

The hotel has a rather impersonal feel to it but if you're only staying one night then it really doesn't matter.

Situated as part of the Macron Stadium and adjoining a large retail park with many restaurant opportunities.

For anyone travelling on the motorway it is an ideal place to stay on your journey or for longer , as always made welcome.
excellent facilities , and good atmosphere , also on the edge of the Pennines , so a trip to the moors is not far away.

Not a bad place to meet up for a business meeting. The cafe area can get busy so you might need to find s quiet corner. The staff are very good in asking if you want a coffee. The hotel and common areas are clean and despite being 10 years old it all still looks new

Visited Whites and stayed in Penthouse which was great.

Couldnt fault the staff from receptionist to the Leisure club staff to the bar staff.

Liked meeting players from both Bolton and Boro in the hotel.

Came to Bolton Whites for Bolton v Middlesbrough match.
This hotel is really easy to find, straight off the motorway and you're there. Free parking and plenty of it. Staff really helpful and friendly. Bar is standard but nice enough with tv screens with sports on.
We didnt use the spa or brasserie so cannot comment on them. Room was lovely, similar to a premier inn. Nice and warm, room was harder to find than the hotel as there are little staircases here and there but we asked staff and they were really helpful.
If you want a pitchside view make sure you call the hotel well in advance, cant be done via booking.com.
Would recommend this hotel for Bolton football matches, dont bother going into Bolton for a night out (very bleak). Would opt for Manchester. Overall very enjoyable stay. Thank you.

Stayed here to watch a football match. Attended a match before and promised ourselves if we returned we would stay in this hotel. Very pleasant stay (fabulous football result for us) bedroom was fine breakfust was tasty and plentiful, bar area and lounge comfortable. Had a cacking night in Horwich with delicious indian meal at Spice Valley and a few glasses raised in the local pubs, locals very friendly even though we beat their football team! Nightcap back in the hotel. All in all a sucessful trip, would definitely stay here again, might even come back just to watch a Bolton match!

Staying for one night for interview. Really good value. Easy access for parking. Plenty staff on in the bar and food area. Thought food was good for a bar area.
Room good size and nice and quiet on the night.

I give this 4 stars because for the price we paid it was an outstanding bargain. Nice staff, fairly big room with bathtub, all was very clean, the bed was very very comfortable. Parking was free. The only downside was that the room was too warm despite the heating being off.

This hotel is very nice and the rooms are very spacious and well decorated. Only a couple of issues, the sausages at breakfast seemed cheap kept getting gristle in them. Also my partner found the bed hard and the pillows not soft enough (I thought they was ok) other than this was really good and would stay again if I was in the area

Enjoyed break nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast poor on holiday Monday but feedback given and taken on board. Recommend hotel and will visit again. Room spacious and very clean, the staff are doing a great job. The leisure facilities including the swimming pool were used during the visit where we found the staff helpful.

Booked a room on laterooms at short notice and knew I would get great service at the hotel but didn't expect to be given one of the penthouse rooms for my stay.

Great service, immaculate facilities throughout and a great night sleep. Will definitely be my hotel of choice when next in the area on business.

Highly recommend. Wonderful hotel , professional and happy staff. Cleanliness of the highest standard. Hairdresser and a leisure centre on site. In an ideal location. Food very good. If you wish to eat out you are spoilt for choice at Middlebrook just behind hotel.

Average experience. Mid - high price for the hotel (twice Permier Inn), bar and first floor dining areas good. Service was patchy/ poor in places - we had to seek out staff to serve us and then wait while they finished background tasks like putting menus on tables in the bar before we could get served.

Stayed for an evening event. good basic room with all facilities. cold night but radiator thermostat good. excellent secure parking, Very good breakfast choice but specialist self serving coffee machine just sends out lots of steam. You take a step back and wait for the outsome. cappuccino not brilliant. Suggest filter coffee machine instead or as well.
Enjoyed our stay and wopuild certainly stay again

Good amenities and very pleasant staff made this stay very enjoyable but the star of the show was the quality of the food. Under the aegis of Paul Heathcote we enjoyed local produce cooked to perfection.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while working in nearby Wigan. I checked in very late (around 11pm) and the staff on at the time were really friendly and helpful - full of useful information and advice, but not too over the top / in your face with it - just genuinely helpful! The room was lovely - much nicer than expected, the bed comfy, the room clean and I had 2 great nights sleep. Breakfast was nice - lots of choice, and very tasty. The hot food seemed very fresh, not like it had been out for a while. Plenty of parking, easy to find - would definitely stay here again. Free wifi was a nice bonus too.

Hotel was clean and tidy, breakfast could of been better and hotter, drinks were very expensive. We never visited the spa so cannot comment on that. Bar staff on the night were rude, one in particular.

I had a lovely time, staff were very helpful and friendly. The pitch view room was great, even though there wasn't a game on, nice to show my son the stadium. The pool was great fun too, there was even equipment out for my son to play with and help him to swim. Everywhere was clean. I didn't eat here, but the food certainly looked good. Bar prices were a bit expensive from a personal point of view, but it is a 4* hotel!
