This place is a bit characterless - that would be my only complaint.

Otherwise expect what you get in a travel lodge, bland, clean simple bedrooms.

I would add to that however, that food and drink is available in the hotel, as is room service, so all in all its a nice place to lay your head.

I have stayed at the hotel before really did like it then. But things have changed it was good to the extent of too much noise coming from the bar.The fire alarm went off at 6 am and was on for half and hour in every room which was not very nice no one was offered anything for that. But overall staff were friendly and are nice.

Enjoyed the 2 days we spent at this hotel. We were there to watch the football and also see friends so it was ideal. Had a room on the 5th floor which was a double en-suite. The bathroom was good size with a shower over bath. Very clean hotel with friendly, pleasant staff. Drinks from bar were expensive. Menu for bar food was good and prices reasonable. Would recommend this hotel and intend to return again soon. Only negative was fire alarm going off at 5.30am on day we were leaving due to idiots returning from a music festival in the stadium, smoking Cannabis in the room above. Not good when facing a 6 hour drive home!

Wonderful! polite staff we will visit again. Unfortunately the fire alarm disturbed our sleep hut other wise the bed was comfy and the noise wasn't to loud. Lovely to experience the football crowds too

Nothing wrong at all with this hotel, however it was indifferent to a premier inn or such like. The rooms were clean and comfortable - but no 4* touches.
The food - very nice
The service from all staff - great - but again - nothing I haven't received from a medium rate hotel.
Nothing bad to say - but would not particularly choose to stay here over the PI over the road . . price will be the decider.

I only stayed the one night using hotel as a stopover for a business trip so I cannot comment on all the associated amenities.

Arrived a lot later than expected but received a very friendly and professional welcome.

Free wifi which worked well and very handy for work etc.

My only minor and I mean minor criticism was the room temperature was unbelievably hot but I was too lazy to look for thermostat or phone reception so that was my fault.

The breakfast was a hot or continental buffet with a wide choice to satisfy everyone.

The hotel staff gave a real impression they care which sometime you do not receive in the bigger hotels

This was a real pleasure to stay here and I will definitely be using it again, on business or leisure trips.

The hotel was excellent and a lot better than I expected

the rooms were lovely and spacious, bed extremely comfortable.

Having just stayed here with the family, I have to say what a lovely warm atmosphere and the staff cant do enough for you. We stayed in the penthouse suite, and although it needs a little TLC it had everything you need in the room.
Reception staff extremely friendly and welcoming along with the restaurant staff (Dianne & Joe). Breakfast was amazing and if like me you have two young children who are very fussy eaters, I didn't have a problem getting them to eat as they had everything you could ask for. My only criticism was on the Saturday morning breakfast, a different restaurant manager (male) throwing orders around to all his staff, do this do that loudly in front of everyone with with no pleases or thank you (power trip comes to mind) which changed the atmosphere slightly.
Leisure facilities good and a lovely and warm pool.
Will defiantly be coming back soon. 👍

We have stayed here many times since the hotel was built and it never disappoints. Breakfast was the usual high standard with lots of choice. The bar menu on match day was just what we wanted - a good sized pizza, chips and a pint for £10 (though other drinks are a bit pricey)

Good position, very friendly reception at check in and checkout and at breakfast. The choice available for breakfast was excellent. Only one lift was working so going out and returning was rather slow. Not enough towels in room and no shower cap. Comfortable bed, clean appearance. Unfortunately we asked for a room overlooking the pitch, but were assigned one overlooking the busy road.

I have stayed here on multiple occasions and if you are lucky you may get a pitch facing room, but not on a matchday (unless you pay for the privilege of course). The rooms are good and large with a comfy bed. Unfortunately unless you have one of the aforementioned pitch facing ones, you won't get air conditioning and they can get very warm in the summer. A portable fan is supplied and the windows open but its not substitute. For this visit in February the heating was adequate.

There are good facilities in the hotel and nearby there are multiple restaurants, shops, bowling alley and cinema. One thing to be aware is during a match there will be a couple of security personnel on the entry to the car park, and the entry to the hotel. This proved interesting when I was staying at the nearby Premier Inn and my colleagues were in the Whites and we were to meet up for a pre dinner drink in the bar.

During my recent stay I found that the breakfast wasn't up to the usual standard. The hot food such as the sausages, black pudding, beans etc were only barely warm. I also gave up waiting for my pot of tea as I had finished before it arrived.

Lovely hotel, though customer service could be better. Only had a small issue with the sunbed but it wasn't dealth with & was told to come back the following day to see him for more tokens. The member of staff wasn't present the next day so didn't recieve tokens. Check in was fantastic with fantastic staff, but at check out we weren't even how our stay had been.

Fantastic service from start to finish, great facilities, comfy bed and fantastic room. Bar and restaurant very good value and very high quality. Breakfast was spot on. Best place to stay in Bolton with lots of local shops and places to eat. Some very good information available on the local area. Spa was good and met my wife's scrutiny, good massages and very clean pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. We'll be coming again!

we arrived just after 2 and were told our room wasnt ready [website said check in from 2] receptionist was lovely and apologetic, and suggested we wait in bar on first floor. so we orered 2 beers.. nearly £10 ! ouch ! recption lady arrived n checked us in and offered us a complimentary breakfast, for the delay and because was wedding anniversary, which cheered us up, we didnt book breakfast at £10 per head was bit pricey for us, when we lived so near and could eat at home later.
room was lovely, spacious, good size tv, trouser press, tolietries, bottled water etc bedding was imaculate, fresh and crisp, carpet tired and worn, but clean. bathroom clean, towels fluffy, shower seal a tad dark/mould marked, and chrome disposable bag dispenser needs some attention, but nothing that was a problem.
breakfast was usual buffet type, but have to say the smoothie yog drink was yum, and the scambled eggs were divine ! i think £5/6 a head for guests would have been a bettter breakfast rate. defo be bk, and would recommend.

Stayed here last week for a conference. The view from my bedroom window was onto the football pitch! Would be great for fans - there was no match on for me though unfortunately.
Bar food in the evening was good, a little slow to come out but there was quite a lot of us.
Conference facilities were good and lunch menu had something for everyone.
Nice room, clean but a little dated.
Nothing of concern about the hotel or service comes to mind.
