My wonderful missus booked this on wowcher as a nice surprise for us, it is less than an hour away from our house which was great , when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised and warmly greeted by a lovely receptionist who checked us in very quickly and with plenty of information, our room was good and very clean, we used the spa and swimming pool after booking our slots and we loved it , very relaxing and friendly environment, we ate a wonderful dinner in the courtyard restaurant after Rodery managed to squeeze us in like an absolute legend, we had such a laugh , Rodrey , Adam and our lovely smiley waitress little sarah couldn't do enough for us and the food was top notch, we even managed to sneak in a skittles shot after the meal, the bar area is cozy and relaxed , the grounds are beautiful and we will definitely be coming back again .

The property is situated amid a housing estate. It has a restaurant and bar. The spa was a reasonable size with a couple of steam rooms and saunas; however limited availability on weekends with reduced hours. Unfortunately our room had an odd odour which we beleved was coming from the carpet. The window was open to aerate the room but when shut, due to the low external temperature, the smell was unpleasant and the window had to be reopened. Our room had not been serviced on the Saturday (we left at 9 am and returned to the hotel at 7 pm). We rang housekeeping and reception but there was no reply. We visited Reception and we were asked what we required in the room - which at a minimum was clean towels and cups! We felt disappointed with the lack of service.

All in all it was a good stay nice staff It’s was perfect for the purpose of our trip to this area Some parts of the building was bit rundown sitting area next to reception had a copy wood burning stove but it did not work and fireplace was not blocked off so very cold draft made room cold.

Would not stay again In the middle of nowhere Staff could have replied to email requests rather than completely ignore relevant questions

Disappointed at check in. Had to stand at reception like a lemon while receptionist continued to chat with another staff member over the counter. Room lovely and warm on a cold evening although bathroom radiator didn’t work. I received an email to say we had a drink voucher. I asked at reception about it when we came down to eat. She told me it was with my room key, but clearly not and she could obviously see on the screen we had one. Maybe too interested in her chat when we checked in, or is it policy not to just give it and hope we don’t ask?

First time here and it was amazing. Good wedding venue. There are small shops and a bar, great village to walk around, would be alot better in the summer. Standard of the rooms were good. For us the reception staff were none attentive. The lady that was booking us in was still dealing witha problem from guests that arrived before us. I thought this was rude as it took twice as long to get booked. There were no smiles or welcoming greeting. Still a great place.

Went for an afternoon tea experience with my partner for our anniversary. It was awesome, lovely views, excellent customer service, gorgeous views and magnificent food and drink. The only thing for us that let our experience down was that we didn't have the opportunity to stay the night (due to other commitments) to enjoy the full variety of things that this place has to offer. Oh well there is always next time, we look forward to booking with you again soon.

Last Drop Weekend Stay Review The thermal pool and breakfast were a hit for sure! Navigating your rooms could be tricky. Had an instance where a guest was struggling to find their room. We were lucky ours wasn't so complicated and pretty straightforward to get to. Maybe a map app and/or better visual signs to show guests how to get to their rooms? That could be extremely helpful.

Nice Relaxing Stay, Helpful & Friendly Staff Room was excellent and spacious bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. Breakfast lovely and the staff in the restaurant, bar and reception very helpful and polite during our stay. We used the SPA on one occasion early evening and enjoyed the facilities which were very clean and relaxing. We will look to return next year ! Sadly the shower head old and when you moved it the plastic surround came off but easily clicked back in place, another recommendation would be to put some kind of shelf in the cubicle for soap, shampoo etc.....shower seemed older than the rest of the bathroom ? Another small comment would be to consider providing a toilet brush, just enables guests to keep everything lovely when other guests join you in your rooms lounge area. Did have an issue with the TV remote but reception solved eventually but took 2 nights

Stayed one night in their standard double room with dinner, and breakfast.
The room was immaculate, with plenty of storage and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. Bed was clean and comfortable and bathroom was also spotless.
Vegan dinner and breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant staff were very attentive. All staff from restaurant, to bar and reception were very friendly.

Just returned from 2 nights at the Hotel. No change on how we feel about this hotel… everything perfect. (A few little things… showers in spa not great, room service still could improve), but, this time we had a treatment… absolutely five star! Staff are a great team, very friendly and helpful. Really hope this hotel is here to stay (not lost to developers)…..this is an Update from last years review…..What a place!!! Had an overnight package deal and what a deal! Spa facilities, 2 course meal and overnight accommodation. Everything about this was perfect! Staff are so friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing and the spa was everything that you need. Would have given the five stars, but for a few negative (more housekeeping) but on the whole, will definitely be coming again. Must say though, the panoramic views are at the back now and not when you are in the infinity pool (looks over houses now) but still a great place.
