Enjoyed our stay, the only let down was the staff are not very friendly especially the lady who struggles with a lisp by Property is lovely and the rooms still contain baths which is an issue at a lot of places now. Nothing really everything is great

Superb Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We did have a problem which was sorted without an issue. Although prices haven't increased since visiting last time, you now get less for your money, breakfast wasn't included in the price I paid last time. It was available at an extra cost. check-in time is different on booking.com (3pm) hotel 2pm. Didn't realise this and booked the spa suit at 3.30pm, this could have been booked earlier if realised sooner. I did call to reschedule, all fully booked.

Business trip.
Room was tired and carpets needed a vacuum.
Breakfast was good but lots of staff just hovering around.
Overall I would say it’s okay but I would pick somewhere else next time.

Exceptional The room was beautiful, as was everything I saw at the hotel. The lobby, bar area, little village at the back were all so lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing - everything was covered and well thought out.

Could be 5 stars with a refresh to rooms The location and the style of the village. The property was quite unclean in places. Including the room, common areas and bathrooms.

The best hotel of Bolton could use a little update. The rooms was not clean. The pilloe was dirty, en there were a lot of letovers from previous guest under the bed.
Also the bathroom was in our point of vieuw old and used.
It was good, but not worth the money we paid for.
Beds were ok.
The showers and other parts of the swimmingpool are also not clean. Old and should have been replaced a lkng time ago.
Also 11 pounds for 2 beers at the barr, and 15 pound for a simple breakfast is a bit expensive.

Very good The staff were very friendly and the bedroom was clean and comfortable It was very convenient as we were attending a wedding at the hotel In the bathroom there was a small tube of each toiletry - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. This was not enough for 3 people so I had to request more. It would also be helpful if a box of tissues could be provided Breakfast was a bit basic but it met our needs

Not impressed, without spa, not worth it The spa and pool were amazing, the beds were comfortable. We found rubbish under the beds, including a hair bubble and a box for a perfume bottle. One pillow had a dirty stain on it. The toilet very close to the wall underneath the toilet paper dispenser. Bathroom outdated, just overall not impressed for that price point. Non of staff were outstanding. Friendly yes but nothing worth mentioning in my opinion. The bar was expensive too.

Went to The Drop Inn for brunch, so cannot comment on the rooms.
The Inn has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were welcoming, polite, pleasant and helpful. The food was lovely, but a little on the expensive side. Eggs benedict cooked perfectly (could do with more sauce) and the bacon and sausage were particularly tasty.
The toilets were clean and well equipped.
The Inn is disabled, pram and dog friendly.
Lovely little village to have an explore of, especially if you like old architecture.
Will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely stay in one of the cottage rooms in Feb 2024. We had a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal with spa access. You have to book your spa use ahead of time during peak hours. Facilities are great, with a huge thermal pool. Food was great, as was service.
