Excellent hotel The amenities and location were excellent, room was excellent as was the food, amenities and village complete with fun fair. My advice is get into the hot bath which makes you feel great, as well as sauna, steam rooms etc. Overall excellent 5 star hotel Nothing, as I have said above it was excellent 5 star quality.

A great afternoon/night Everything was excellent from check in, to our lovely room, the service, the gym pool & spa and although the breakfast was self service, it was still very good. Not sure there is anything.

We got a deal including a 3 course meal and breakfast which was all very nice so it offered great value. The room was clean but a little dated but comfortable. The staff were nice and friendly. There was a firework display on which they told us about in advance and offered to change dates if we wanted which was nice. We also got to see the fireworks for free.

Not quite the standard I had expected. Had to request different room as the one allocated had broken radiator thermo, and was like a sauna. I asked for it be fixed, a maintenance contractor attended, and reception advised me it was fixed, but it did not make any difference. The room I was moved to (next door to the original) did not have a lounge table and chairs, as did the original one. I asked at reception if this could be accommodated; I was advised it would be, but it did not happen. There was a "Halloween and Bonfire Event" going on, which meant there was a loud-speaker playing loud music right outside my room. Luckily, I was going out for the evening, so it did not bother me, but it had I needed to rest or sleep during the evening, it would have been impossible.. It would have been good if the hotel had advised me of this in advance. Minor things, but annoyed that I was told at reception that things would be rectitifed, but they weren't.

Great hotel in Bolton Food was lovely - good selection at breakfast. Decent sized wine list to choose from - not silly prices. Bed was extremely comfortable and shower hot and powerful Could only connect one device to the WiFi meaning I couldn't use my work laptop

Other than the breakfast experience we really enjoyed our stay, would leave the breakfast next time The spa and swimming facilities were lovely Breakfast service was really poor, lots of tables left with dirty pots, no cutlery on tables, tea was really weak I suggest they use better teabags, toaster machine stoped working, breakfast was mice but cold.

Great all round place to stay Though lots going on in the hotel it didn’t compromise the ordinary guest staying there. Nice food in the restaurant and good Spa facilities. Having to go outside to our room in the rain...the hotel could offer umbrellas..lots of leaves around..very slippery in places on the path.

Visited for my birthday to have a few days away without chores, it was such a nice place. Friendly and relaxed and a lovely pool and spa. Staff were very friendly too and food was very good with some creative and different dishes.

As a regular visitor to the hotel I found it to be of the usual high standards with very helpful staff and good facilities. The hotel is in a great location with views for the most part over the lovely countryside. The only negative issue was the sight of the extensive building work in the grounds.

The room is a good size and nice to have some chairs to relax on rather than having to sit on the bed. Excellant Spa and pool big enough to have a good swim in . There is a very good breakfast with lots of choice.

I came on a day pass with my husband last month to use the gym and spa and I was more than impressed! I was greeted by a young girl called Lucy on reception who welcomed us and told us we everything we needed to know. She showed us round too!
The hydro pool was awesome and there was everything you could possibly want. We went to the tea shop after and again it was lovely 😊 the staff again were very pleasant.

I would definitely go again, well done to the staff!
