It was a great place to relax and that is just what we did. The bed was very comfortable however we thought the pillows were a little too hard. We only had breakfast in the hotel and was excellent. The spa facilities were excellent too. Will definitely make time to come again. I can only think of one which is so trivial and that was the pillows been too hard .

The services i received from the staff was second to none. I was the Best man for my pals wedding and contacted the hotel in advance to help out with a couple of things i required.

From the off both before and during our stay they were extremely helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we were catered for.

The rooms were well presented and very large with plenty of storage. The Spa and swimming pool were a superb extra which my wifed used twice.

My only complaint would be that the draft beer selection at the bar is very limited and from a local brewery and its very expensive. I would expect premium beers for the prices charged.

A personal thanks to Nikki and her wedding team who provided excellent service throughout the day.

We stayed for our Wedding Anniversry, really enjoyed our experience feeling chilled and relaxed. The room was a good size with plenty of sockets for charging things and using hair dryer /straightners etc.The bathroom was also a decent size .The Spa facilities were very good as was the Breakfast. The shower water temperature kept changing ...going rather too hot at times.

Travelled with work. Great location with plenty of parking. All staff very pleasant. Evening meal and service in restaurant was very good and for drinks after. Plenty of choice for breakfast and no problem for requesting vegan sausage.

The accommodation, spa, room and setting were all excellent. The staff and facilities were also very good as we found everyone helpful and accommodating. I cant find any easy faults, and we will definitely be going again. Highly recommend.

Attended a wedding reception and had a comfortable nights stay in the hotel. The help we received from the receptionist when we checked in was second to none and she went the extra mile to escort us with an umbrella to the venue on an awful night.

Nice The spa was lovely, and the beds were very comfortable! Staff member that checked us in was friendly. One unfriendly staff member and the breakfast was very expensive half the food was missing and didnt get restocked for the half an hour we were in there.

Great hotel, lovely food , very helpful staff, disabled facilities are poor. No disabled loo in the reception room, no dialled access to the dinning room, large steps, cobbles, no ramp to the bedroom.

Had to travel to Bolton recently, an area not packed with good quality hotels. We opted for Last Drop, really given the proximity of it's location to where we needed to be. I've stayed here before, around 5 years ago and it looked a little tired.

This time I was in a similar room but they look as thought they've been reappointed and decorated and it was a much nicer experience. Nice and clean and the bathroom was far better than most hotels of this type with a rainfall type shower, which I happen to like.

All in all our stay was good, the staff friendly and helpful - even when they overcharged us at the bar, they did everything to put it right immediately and without fuss. We took the last space in the car park, which could be a problem for late arrivers (we got there around 22h).

Didn't use the spa facilities so can't comment on them.

My only quibble would be the cost of breakfast, which was £15.50 per head which seems overpriced given the poor reports other guests mentioned. We're both vegan and whilst there was choice on the menu, we opted to go to a nearby delightful vegan cafe called Earthlings. It's just 5 minutes drive away and serves great, fresh and healthy vegan food until later afternoon. It offers takeaway too.

Spa weekend with daughters Great spa facilities, fabulous triple room very spacious - great breakfast Breakfast very busy due to a wedding party - would have been better if the wedding group could have been accommodated elsewhere.

My stay was pleasant apart from bothering staff to rectify the three small hiccups. The room was comfortable, the staff were very helpful The remote control for the TV was missing, sour cream was missing for my starter and lemon wedges missing from my main course.

Lovely scenic place with a traditional feel about it. Hid away in a nice quiet place with a real cottage home type of feeling to it. Nice little garden area and the free spa facilities are beyond what you’d expect. Nothing.

A great location and although weddings were on it didn't impact our stay . Staff in all areas of the hotel were helpful and did their utmost to sort any issues if any arose ( slight problem with a meal ) recommended fully and we will be back

Great spa followed by a good breakfast for a super start to the day The spa was excellent. Breakfast was very good with a range of delicious options. Most off the staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful. The decor was a little drab and bland and a little bit down at heel - both in our room and in the bar area. The bedroom towels, loo rolls and tea coffee/ milk supplies were not alway replaced as needed.

I recently attended a Boxing event at the Last Drop on Saturday 19th October. A great atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff. The venue was particularly busy, would have been ideal if more bars were open to deal with so many guests waiting to be served. Louie on the main bar was particularly helpful but all the staff were great. Will definitely be attending next year!
