We stayed in 3 executive rooms for our family celeration and they were first class. The staff were friendly, without exception, and everything in terms of arrangements for 10 people, was perfect. We had a private room for dinner as we had 3 young children and this was a perfect arrangement suggested by Liam who made our reservation. The service at both dinner and breakfast was spot on and the pool area and sauna were just ideal. If there was one drawback it was that the tea shop , which we used for lunch . They served sandwiches which were not as exciting as the rest of the food at the hotel and were overpriced compared with the otherwise excellent value of this hotel

Nice location although out the outskirts if a housing estate & hotel generally OK. Rooms/bathrooms need updating. We had a noisy room, walkway outside and issues with toilet overflow constantly running and noise from radiator tapping. Bed was really comfortable. Pool & spa really nice with outdoor hydro pool. Had a nice dinner in restaurant but missed breakfast.

Stayed many times and highly recommended. The location is calm, peaceful, provides pedestrian paths in the nature. The rooms are comfortable and have enough space for long stays. Breakfast could be better but they serve hot dishes as well. Dinner menu is limited but the food is really good. Wide swimming pool and spa makes it better. A minibar in the rooms could make it perfect.

Excellent venue in a picturesque setting. My granddaughters wedding was wonderfully managed without any fussing about in the background, in fact you didn't notice any of the staff going about there business but everything was done quietly and efficiently.
The meal was beautifully done and full of flavour, could 'nt fault it ,again everything done quietly and efficiently.
A lovely day made even better by tentative staff.

Attended a wedding here and it was excellent. All food was served piping hot to all the guests. All 3 courses were delicious. Wedding was well organised and all had a lovely day. There is lots of parking both at the spa and the main hotel at the front and a large car park at the rear for events. Drinks are very expensive though

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. The facilities great. Loved the spa area with the outdoor hot tub. The food excellent. The only downfall was the pool which is on the small side when you have to keep dodging the kids splashing about. But this didn't spoil the stay.

Went for a spa day which was lovely and relaxing, however I am only giving it 3 stars just because I wouldn't exactly call it luxurious. The pool is more like a sports centre pool with a couple of sun loungers round the side. There were swimming lessons going on in one lane - thank god we were having our treatments when the kids lessons started in the afternoon! Nothing against kids or anything but I go for a spa day for child free time, not to listen to other people's kids making a racket!
The thermal suit was nice and I loved the hot pool which opens up to the outside. BUT the view is terrible, right onto the car park and road up to the hotel! It would be better if they at least planted a hedge or something to block this!
The treatment itself was lovely, I had a full body massage and the treatment room was very nice.
I would also like to comment on the food in the hotel restaurant /bar. I would give that a 2 star review if I were to do it separately. I had an egg sandwich which tasted like it was made with salad cream instead of mayonnaise, on slightly dry bread. We also ordered a 'garlic flat bread' which was actually just a pitta bread(!) with some garlic butter and cheese on, also it was hard round the edges as if it had been microwaved! I would have been embarrassed to serve that up when I worked on a restaurant!

Have been here a number of times and initially thought it was fantastic. Gorgeous spa and steam rooms etc with a large swimming pool. Great views and a lovely little village built into hotel. Food and drink above average but expensive. Reason only 4 stars as it could do with a renovation as it has not changed in 10 years. Noticed rotten windows and a lot scruffier than previously.

I made a short visit here. The landscape and surroundings are beautiful. The buildings look pristine. The area was amazingly tidy and clean. The hotel was spotless and modern. The spa has a pool which overlooks the car park and is open to the elements yet integrated within the building. The pool is elevated ensuring privacy. The staff look very presentable and are very helpful.

Had Christmas Dinner there. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. For the employees there to have such a cheery look while working on Christmas Day is just fantastic to see. Me and my family had a wonderful meal and a great experience. Thank you all employees who worked the Christmas day shift. If your in the area looking for somewhere to eat, I would definitely recommend that you try here :)

Well we arrived here last night after being diverted to Manchester airport instead of Glasgow the staff were at the door to help with luggage and room allocation! Taking order's for dinner. The room was lovely, spotless and really cosy! The staff are really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent!

We went there for a wedding. Very nice venue but bar prices are far too high unless all your wedding guests are wealthy (a £12 bottle of prosecco cost £30).
There are absolutely no electric car recharging points in this huge place and none locally either, which is baffling. There are government grants available so all they need to do is apply.
There's are a few nice shops that are worth taking a look at.
Overall a lovely day as long as you remember to juice up your EV and bring your credit card with you.

The day overall was very good. Pool quite hot and lots of time to soak. Up to treatment area drink and chat before appointment s. Great back massage and relaxing facial. The visit to restraunt area for afternoon tea was very disappointing, thick bread on sandwiches and an almost total absence of cakes. Usual scone jam and creme but a total miss in the cake area. A small triangle of flapjack, a small macron and three tiny (jelly bean size) confections of unknown taste in little dark chocolate cup. Whatever happened to Victoria sponge? Sad end to a good day. 🤐😯🙁

Nice hotel withina quirky setting. Stayed here 3 times now, had issues with two of them. Heaters off and window left open by cleaners when I checked in late, was 10C in the room and a cold night! Other time the extractor fan in the bathroom decided to spit out all the dust it had gathered over the years while I was in the shower.
Good breakfast though 👌

The Last Drop Village is a very nice hotel, with friendly staff, well-kept rooms, a tasty breakfast with plenty of variety, and a wonderful pool.
The only minor gripe I have about the rooms are the showers. They have a pressure problem which causes the water to go cold every minute or so. Apart from this, WiFi is available, the beds are comfy and there is a TV on the wall.
The pool and spa are fantastic, including a hot pool that is open-air and several different sauna and steam room options. Me and my girlfriend spent several hours using these facilities during our stay.
The breakfast is great with a great selection of continental and cooked options to choose from.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The Last Drop Village is set in lovely surroundings, check in was easy, staff on reception friendly, welcoming and professional. I am recovering from a broken foot so enquired about the vicinity of our room to the venue and parking, we were offered a room in the cottages next to "The Drop" venue and parking (free) which was a perfect location.
We had room 83 Belmont Cottage, the bedroom was actually more like a suite, with an entrance hall, dressing room with dressing table and chair, hairdryer and iron, a large bathroom with in bath shower and toiletries, a large bedroom with a very comfy king-size bed and a large single bed. The bedroom also had a coffee table and chairs and kettle with tea and coffee. All was tastefully decorated clean and very comfortable. Only down side to the otherwise perfect accomadation was no complementary biscuit to have with hot drinks and loud noise from party goers until around 1.40am.
The evening venue was in The Drop, this was set out like a pub with tables and chairs and a food serving bar, another room is attached with a drinks bar, seating and a dancefloor.
It's functional and looked like a dated country pub.
The food being served was a let down for me, I am vegetarian and the sandwiches were cut into triangles in rows of mixed meat and non meat and the bread was not fresh, the pizza and chips were both poor quality frozen and overcoooked. I totally understand that the hotel has to work within the customers budget but there is no excuse for poor cooking, and food presentation.
The spa is free to use for hotel guests, unfortunately we didn't have time to use but our friends did and said they really enjoyed it.
As we stayed Saturday night the Sunday breakfast was served from 7.30 - 11am. A hot traditional and continental buffet with a good fruit, cerial and bread selection as as much as you could eat. My husband and I have regular weekends away so we think we are good judges of breakfasts, and we both said breakfast was as good as any we have had previously if not better. Breakfast was very busy with guests but this did not make a difference, it all ran like clockwork. The staff were amazing, service with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The food was hot, fresh, tasty and plentiful.
I would love to stay again but would eat before a party to avoid disappoint ment.

This is an excellent venue for a wedding set in nice grounds built around the original Last Drop Village setting with cobblestones, fountain and well.
The rooms are very reasonably priced especially when the full English breakfast is included.
The Spa facilities are also very good with modern facilities.

Had a fantastic time. The facilities are good (not the best I have been too but good). The hydropool over looks a bit of the car park before the rolling hills but it's no ones fault just a surprise as the photos don't show this (good advertising). Perhaps stop cars parking right underneath and grass that area would be better. They have entry of car parking spaces. The place is spotless andI mean spotless. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for anyone.
The whole 'village' feel is quaint and the lights at night just add to the charm.
We did a version of their advertised walking routes and aside from not very clear directions (hence a version) it was beautiful.
The room was gorgeous and spacious if a little far from reception. Which was not an issue except there was a door right next to our room to the outside that we could not use so had to walk all the way around everytime we wanted to go near reception.
Thank you for making a much needed break a great one x

Stayed here for a wedding between Christmas and New year. Had a fantastic time. Only down side was the bizarre way you get locked out of the buildings after checkout times. We had to walk all the way round thd outside of the hotel in the snow. Maybe they should think about covering those walkways with glass. I understand why they do it bit not good especially with young kids in tow. That said would stay here again but would be more prepared 😁

Quaint touristy village with great photo opportunities. Pub was closed on our visit. Cafe was dated and average food but lovely staff. Excellent gift shop with great variety of merchandise. Worth a visit for this shop. There is a hotel and spa here but we never tried them.

After a lovely day from start to finish I just had to leave a review.
I booked with my Mum for a spa day, on arrival we were greeted by a lovely man on receptuon who explained what would happen during our day. He was very welcoming and friendly. The treatments were amazing, thank you Caroline for doing an amazing job. I don't think I've ever felt so relaxed. Then we had time to chill in the relaxation room, the free tea and coffee was great, there was peach tea and water aswell. All it was missing was a few biscuits or snacks to tide us over to lunch.
Afternoon tea was lovely, a little to much butter on the sandwiches for me and I would have preferred thin bread over thick but thats my personal preference. The cakes were lovely small bites and a fresh scone with jam and cream.
Then onto the pool area, it was lovely and clean and the hot infinity pool was to die for the sun beds were very comfortable. The various steam rooms were great, i couldnt stay in long as they were to hot for me but again thats my personal preference.
All in all an amazing day, lovely staff all the way through, well worth the money.
Small suggestions to make it perfect..
Biscuits or snacks in with coffee and tea.
Thin bread option and less butter on sandwiches.
Small gift to finish off the day.
My husband booked this as a surprise and thought there was a take home gift incl but nothing was mentioned while I was there and I forgot to ask. To blissed out. X

Stayed for 1 night, we had access to the Spa Friday evening and Saturday morning. Facilities are great and never felt overcrowded even though there was a lot of people. The room was very nice and clean. Great Hotel to stay in and will be returning!

It's a fantastic venue in the Bromley Cross area of Bolton and the Hotel, village and facilities cannot be faulted. I was there for a Wedding Reception in the Harmony Suite. The hotel holds a licence for marriages so you can get married and hold the Reception in the same suite if you want to.
As far as I could see the only downside was the price of drinks at the bar. They are not cheap in fact £3.80 for a large Coca Cola is in my opinion extortionate and cannot be justified.

Good facilities, room was perfectly fine if a little dark, comfortable bed. Price point at £72 for the area ok for what you get but £12 on top for breakfast and £5.20 a pint starts getting into London prices hence 4 not 5 stars.
