I stayed here for one night with my wife as part of my 50th Birthday present. I must say our room was fantastic, in the courtyard ten seconds from the bar. The bed was comfy, clean and the bathroom was lovely. Our disappointment came with the food. The evening meals were quite small and the breakfast was cold. There was a heating issue and as the bar was so cold at night we had to just head back to our room and watch tv. The spa area was good, especially the outdoor heated pool. On another day I reckon we would have had a much more positive experience.

I have a severe allergy to feathers. The duvet was made up of them. I realised at 12:15am and went to reception to see if there was any alternative, by 12:45 I had been given a microfibre duvet and had a MAGICAL sleep

My partner and I decided to go away as a last minute anniversary celebration. Not wanting to break the bank, but wanting the facilities of a pool/spa we decided to book the last drop inn. It had also been recommended by a colleague. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we had to end our original booking due to illness. The spa was decent- in need of refurbishment here and there. Room was cozy and had everything we needed. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent value. Would return- it’s great for the price!

This hotel was lovely we were in the courtyard area at the back of the bar. It was a lovely room, great facilities and would definitely go back.

We used the spa and this was lovely, on the Sunday we went before breakfast and it was empty which was nice. The outdoor pool was like a bath!!!

Breakfast was a little disappointing as it was cold. Could’ve just been an off day or timing as we saw plenty of food being brought out once we had got ours.

Couldn’t fault the restaurant in the evening though, food was delicious and service was great.

Would recommend to family and friends

Excellent service, staff amazing, nice room, unfortunately problems with the heating in main areas however management tried their best to accommodate customers in difficult circumstances.
Isabel at breakfast was so wonderfully customer orientated, such an excellent ambassador for the company. Can’t highly praise the staff enough.
Would certainly return.
Kind regards
Marilyn Jones & party.

Lastdrop always sets the bar locally in Bolton when I used to live there bit on return and having attended events and stayed with them over recent years that bar had slipped. My most recent stay with family however marked a change. Last drop have clearly been renovating rooms and facilities the "getting tired" look is gone and the rooms seem fresher and public areas seem brighter and more modern.

The breakfast is a must though with Last Drop really good good, a wide range of choice and quick attentive service from the staff. I can def recommend the Eggs Benedict.

Lastly the Spa Facilities. The addition of these a few years ago by Last Drop took the place to a other level. There is a really decent sized indoor pool and a nice indoor/outdoor hot pool. I think I counted 6 different variations of the Sauna Steam room as well. It can get a bit busy on a Friday when the gaggles of lady spa weekender arrive but head in a little bit later or earlier for some peace and quiet. There is a genuine real Spa setup here though with is a lot larger than your average hotel setup. So top tip, do not forget your trunks/cossie.

Got a deal off Wowcher for use of the spa which included treatments plus afternoon tea.
Firstly, David who I dealt with over the phone was brilliant at sorting our treatments and was very helpful.
The treatments were really good and the therapists were lovely.
The pool was quiet apart from when lessons started at around 5pm but we used the hydro pool were no under 16s are allowed any way.
The afternoon tea was tasty.
Overall, really enjoyed our day.
Thank you to the guy on reception (not sure of his name) but he was very helpful.

My husband and I stayed here for the night and couldn't really fault it. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, there was a bit of a misunderstanding when the order was taken but that was soon rectified without complaints. The food was delicious. A wide variety of good breakfast to choose from in the morning too. The spa itself is fantastic, clean and well maintained. We both had a treatment which was lovely. All in all this is a fabulous spa hotel and would recommend it to anyone that's looking for a nice relaxing break.

I have stayed at this lovely hotel on countless occasions recently and have been extremely comfortable. The staff are friendly and most helpful. Last week I booked a Celebration of Life event in their lovely Harmony Suite for my Fathers recent passing and was looked after by a wonderful team of people. Special thanks go to Chloe Coton and David Longcake, however, the who team worked hard to make the occasion memorable for my family and friends. Nothing was too much trouble and I will certainly return to this lovely complex again soon with its wonderful views of the surrounding Lancashire countryside. A little hidden treasure in the North of England.

Loved this hotel. Check in went smoothly. Room was lovely with bathrobe and slippers all ready to go to the Spa. Staff there were most helpful too and showed us around. Loved the open air hydrotherapy pool. Weather was amazing for the end of Feb. Can’t fault this hotel and we totally recommend this hotel for a stay. We will return.

Stayed for 3 nights in a family room. Room had been updated in neutral/ grey colours and was a decent size. Bathroom was also ok size but water often surged hot then cold. Informed hotel who said they would get maintenance to look at it but issue never resolved.dont know if it was just oir shower or wider issue. Pool and spa area were probably its best asset. Nice size pool of 18m with one lane for lengths.couple of steem rooms, a suana and a spa pool. House keeping was a bit sparodic though and staff seemed to struggle when it was busy. Overall a nice place, but typically british laid back service.

Visited Last Drop Inn for my friends 50th recently and had a wonderful stay . The hotel was beautifully clean and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff ! The evening meal was excellent and we even had a complimentary drink . The spa facilities were good and the extra little row of shops was lovely . We had such a great time that we will definitely be returning soon . I am a regular mini break traveller and I couldn’t fault the price , quality and excellent service .

We stayed here whilst visiting family in the area. We had heard it was very ‘quaint’ but disappointed to find it didn’t have as much character as we thought. In fact most of it was quite modern. Only food available was in formal dining room so we went elsewhere for dinner both nights. For a family room we felt our room was a little small, the shower water leaked all over the floor and toilet roll holder over an arm-stretch away from the toilet. The cover-let on bed was dirty and carpet very grubby. The first night the room was boiling and quilt very hot & heavy, even though we turned radiator off. The pillows also hard and when we asked for softer ones we were told there were no others. On a more positive note the breakfast was good and the infinity spa was lovely!

We booked a last minute staycation half term break which was excellent value. The little touches like free welcome drink, chocolates, robes, etc make such a difference. Our children loved the pool area and the outside thermal spa was a fabulous retreat for us adults. The food in the on-site bar area was excellent but a little pricey. The breakfast was brilliant and cooked to order and the staff were so attentive, constantly checking we were ok for teas and coffee and nothing was too much trouble! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return. The room was a good size for four with properly made up beds for the children (as opposed to uncomfortable sofa beds that we often have to put up with in other hotels). We genuinely enjoyed our short break and think that some of the nit picking reviews that we read before our stay are totally unfair. Many thanks to the bar staff that honoured my free drink voucher even though I'd forgotten to take it to the bar and the breakfast staff that ensured our children were made as welcome as we were!

Wife & I took up an offer of evening meal, b&b plus 2 proseccos and 25min back massage which included all the Spa facilities. Every aspect of the package could not be faulted and the service accommodation & cleanliness was 100%.
Highly recommended in a lovely area.

We booked a break for 3 generations of our family and all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The booking process was very easy due to the exceptional help from Tracey on reception and check in was smooth. Our rooms were actually ready earlier than the stated 2pm, which was great. We had 3 family rooms and they were quite large and very clean. The hotel is lovely and the staff were very attentive especially the restaurant manager, even when he was exceptionally busy. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast which included a set menu with varied choices and excellent food! Breakfast was great too. The spa was an added bonus, very relaxing. Well done Last Drop Village, we'll be back!!

We had our wedding here in the Harmony Suite last Saturday - everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you to Tara for helping us organise everything, nothing was too much trouble. On the day we were looked after by Nicola who was amazing, she made sure everything ran smoothly and we didn't have to ask for anything or remind anyone about anything, it all just happened as and when it was supposed to. She also did a brilliant job of playing along with our secret singing waiters! Ryan also did an excellent job of looking after us in the evening, and the bar staff were all very friendly and pleasant. There were never any queues at the bar as it was well staffed throughout the day.
The food was great and rooms were comfortable.
We just wish we could do it all again!

Recently stayed here for 2 nights as part of a hen weekend. We booked the hen party package for the Saturday night that included access to the spa, treatment, 3 course evening meal and tickets for the valentines weekend and breakfast the next day. We added an extra stay onto the package so we could enjoy the whole weekend.

On first impressions this is a very nice hotel, check in was smooth and we were able to go to our room straight away. We stated in room 76 which was up a few stairs and I bit annoying to get to so if I was going again I would ask for a room a bit closer and not up so many steps. However the room we had a lovely, very clean and the bathroom was nice.

The spa is lovely and I would recommend getting a treatment, I had a facial and it was amazing and the staff are all really nice and professional. The spa itself is very nice with 2 pools and a few steam rooms and saunas. If you have booked a treatment you also get fresh robes and slippers which is a nice touch and after your treatment there is a relaxation room and free drinks in a little seating area. The evening meal and entertainment was faultless, everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and loved dancing the night away. We all had breakfast the next morning which was very nice with a good selection of cold and hot food choices and different juices.

The grounds of the hotel are lovely and it is like being in a village with a shop, pub, tea room, wedding shops and a boutique. The only thing I would say is we found the service a bit slow in the courtyard bar, we had both lunch and drinks there over the weekend and did have to wait a while but other than that everything over the weekend went smoothly.

Visited several times with friends and the restaurant staff have always been friendly and accommodating. The food is also very good, and whilst I feel it can be over priced, it is fresh, piping hot and the portion sizes are also decent. Will return.

arrived at the hotel around 3/4pm thursday afternoon were i was expecting to have a very nice day and night a head of us..2 weeks prior i had booked a 200 pound package that entailed a live piano player, upgraded toiletries.a 3 course meal with a gift on the table, the exc package the valentines fizz package and the best room in the hotel..i arrived on the day and to my disappointment no effort had been made what so ever by the hotel to make this day for the guest special, the hotel had charged the customers top wack prices to be there on this day and had not even gone to the effort of putting up any decorations balloons or banners in the enterance the bar not even in the dinning area were the romantic meal was taking place.it felt very shoddy very simple and just like a normal thursday/friday night there was no atmospher no valentine vibe nothing.i went to my room it was dim and very cold i had rang ahead to ask for the room to be made special i was told they dont do that any more but i could pay for out side items to be brought in.i was surprised at this has they are a popular wedding venue and pride there self on making special days very special.i then spent over 20mins on my valentines day trying to warm up the room shut windows turn on the heating push back curtains.i booked in a 70 pound massage were i was told it would be head neck back done in a certain room.i arrived to not being in a certain room no head or neck massage being done and the staff no older than early 20.s worst 70 pound i have ever spent.i then went to rest in the room before dinner at 8pm that had been pre booked so they was expecting me at 8pm.on arrival i waited to be seated has i wasnt even noticed,i was shoved in a very small corner on a very busy table but to my shock the live piano player was a man plonked in the middle of 2 rooms playing a keyboard that sounded more like a demo track had been put on.once at the table i ordered my food that had been advertised has this lovely romantic special 3 course meal and had been charged at a high price to my upset it was not much different from the normal pub menu.i think the best in the dinning area was yet to come on a small saucer there was a half dead rose what you could buy from a seller in a bar and 2 cheap chocolates when i went to move this a side i was told by staff that this was our free valentines day gift and it didnt end there.several other couples were not happy complaints on prices not being right, problems with hidden charges out side the package, complaints on false advertising the day/night and the main complaints was the food.we even had couples getting up and walking out raised voices from a lady guest that was given a high bill out side of already paying the set price on the package stating she hadnt been told there was extras. all of this upset the atmosphire made us feel un easy not romantic and un comfortable.by the time our food arrived it was the wrong soup that had to be sent back.then the mains was hard rubbery and cold,by this point we gave up and did not eat.i went to sit down to gather my thoughts i sat at a table looked down and to my disgust there was a needle on the table by this point i was at my witts end i alerted staff and was told it wasnt there fault wasnt there doing couldnt be helped and i should of just handed it in.at this stage i really just wanted to cry i was told to go to my room and it would be dealt with tomorrow i was also offered due to not having eat all day chips and fish i refused as it was a far cry from the expensive 3 course meal i had paid for.the manager told me that was my problem if i was hungry i should of still eat that they had offered something and that was enough didnt understand why had lost my want to eat or why chips and fish wasnt good enough.the whole day and night was ruined it was a total complete let down i spent the day disappointed the night got worse and sat up hungry and cold.the staff made no attempt to fix this blamed me offered no replacement stay no refund not even on the meal and was disgusting and rude...never go to there events they are not what they advertise and this isnt the first time, stay away from there bonfire night events to

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and found the staff very friendly.
It was a lovely hotel but I have to comment on our room. First time I have ever stayed at a 4* Hotel and found that there was no mirror over the wash basin to shave. There was one over the toilet which was of little use. I asked reception if they could provide a hand held one but couldn't.
The other problem was the seal was missing from the shower screen which of course led to water covering the bathroom floor.
Another issue was our room was above the main entrance where people congregated to have a cigarette and as there had been a function at the Hotel, I assume, there was a lot of noise from this area
I would recommend the Hotel but a little more effort is needed.
