I booked a day room. It was very cheap but the actual room and bathroom were amazing. Super clean and presentable. Also had access to the gym and swimming pool which I thought was brilliant especially for the price I paid. Already have been recommending Village hotel Bury to my friends and family.

Upon arrival we checked in and went straight to room but then decided to upgrade, however it was a downgrade previous room was much nicer.
We had a two course meal in the restaurant, staff were lovely, starter was great but the main was a let down.
As for sleep well I believe there was a wedding, as our room was above the outside area all we could hear was screaming, fighting and smashed bottles. Due to this the lady on reception gave up a late checkout.
Stayed here before and had a great experience I'm guessing this was a one off with it being a busy bank holiday weekend.

Hello. We have stayed at Village Bury many times and also your hotels in Ashton and Hull and always have a great time, love the buzzy atmosphere. Could we politely request some more training for your receptionist Ashley the girl was struggling to cope and twice told us happy hour ended at 800 pm. We came down for dinner at 705 pm to be told we had just missed it. Enjoyed our meal and I think Ashley could learn lots from Tina the restaurant manager her customer service was exemplary. Thank you Chris Hubbard. Ps we were still told happy hour ended at 800 pm the next day.

Have used this hotel already several times. They've moved some time ago to self-checkin via terminals, but these are not always working ok. Lucky for me a (very, very friendly) staff member was in the lobby and checked me in in the old-fashioned way.
Rooms are very clean, bed is certainly ok.
Dinner used to be better in the past (now the meat was a bit chewy, grilled vegetables partially raw, partially overcooked).
Staff are very friendly !
I would have given a 4 star rating in the past, now moving to 3 star overall.

Very friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. Evening grill and breakfast food were both enjoyable and the service was quick and professional. Room had good facilities with a comfortable bed. Only downside was the noise - late night music and banging doors.

Rooms are great, practical and mattresses are out of this planet.
Very happy with the service and level of service provided by staff, great facilities, easy access to motorway, very quiet stay if you want to chill out.

Can't fault the hotel for cleanliness and good staff. Room great and modern.
The only problem was the hotel bar was open all night for a boxing pay per view. This resulted in many people buying tickets for the event which was very late in the early morning. The noise from the smoking terrace and bar was noisy all night, so didn't get any sleep till after 6am when it all went quiet

the hotel is in a decent location. Not too far from the city centre and alot of attractions in the local area. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very accommodating. We would stay here again in the future.

Bathroom needs immediate attention It tainted our enjoyable social evening which was overall a great night. Singer was very professional and connected very well with a diverse age range.Outlook from the bedroom was stark to say the least. Maybe some plant decoration would help

I was very surprised with the hotel rooms. I thought they would of slit nicer than they were. There's nothing nicer than making a coffee in your room. It does piss u off when it doesn't work. The shower was nice though. I was expecting a bath. Oh well can't have everything. Just do your homework first. My window looked out onto a brick wall. Luckily I was only there for the day. Before you book ask lots of questions. Hope you enjoy it. Me

Bought a Wowcher deal for a Spa Day and 2 treatments each. We enjoyed everything, though I seemed to have a more pleasant experience with the massage than my niece. I was given options of the oils used and she wasn't sadly. Worth the money though.

For a good value stay this cannot be beaten, especially on the special offer room rates we were able to book in advance. Rooms spacious, clean & well presented, with good bathroom with larger dispensers for hand soap, shower gel & shampoo. Suggest you take your own flannel for the shower gel, & soap if you prefer that to gels. Excellent buffet breakfast & great coffee. Restaurant is well laid out and staff were very friendly & helpful, offering extra tea/coffee etc. Would have appreciated the option of herbal teas in the room for husband who doesn't like to drink too much caffeine, and option to have Bury black pudding for breakfast, but these are minor points. We will probably visit again as its so convenient for the motorway and visits to relatives in the area.

Have stayed here a few times for a night away, always good value and usually a promotion available.
Good offers in the pub on drinks all day and the food was nice for our meal in the restaurant.
Breakfast was a bit disapointing as had to wait while the hit food was replenished but overall ok.

Just back from a stay here is what we thought

. Checking in was easy
. Staff friendly
. Room was brilliant bed was comfortable and large TV was huge(we upgraded.
To club)
. Pool and leisure facilities where nice and clean
. Food in the restaurant was tasty and hot but let down by the drink prices eg (1 pint and a glass of water was 6.30)

All in all was a great stay and good value for money our favourite of THE 4 Manchester Village Hotels. REALLY ENJOYED IT HIGHLY RECOMMEND XXX

When you walk through the hotel doors you are out of reality for those 24 or so hours. AMAZING

The super friendly and efficient staff make this a great place to stop. We stayed just one night but would have happily stayed on for longer. The pub menu was reasonably priced with a great selection of gorgeous and tasty food.
