Lovely staff and great hotel, good value for money. Get access to the pool and gym and they're a very high standard. Definitely would recommend if staying in bury. Lovely place with restaurants on site and close to local town

Team Rhino,
A great seminar and a comfortable stay. The room was well appointed, clean, the service was good and in some cases very good and helpful. The facilities were very good with gym, pool and spa.

More security needed. Lots of noise and no one monitoring floors enough.
Couple next door hammering on doors and literally screaming st each other. As a single woman staying alone I didn't feel able to do anything as I was in an adjoining room.

Stayed during a business trip. Location was excellent for the motorway and a 10 minute drive from the business venue. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very nice, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to colleagues for future trips.

Excellent stay, fantastic facilities to meet everyone's needs, friendly service and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is wonderfully big so there's actually room for everyone to swim! Starbucks in house is a great addition.

Nice room. Evening staff are just simply awful, total let down to the place, unwelcoming faces singled out amongst others treated like cattle an some sort of bloke playing bouncer in the bar was a definate no for recommending to others to stay over at this place

Very good service and clean premises. Beds were comfortable, modern and roomy. A whole lot better that other Village Hotels I have stayed in. The check in process was easy and efficient. The check out process was equally as good. I will look forward to returning in the future and may consider an evening out with friends given the close proximity of Manchester and the good motorway link.

This was our first visit and we shall certainly stay again. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were very good. It was very busy with guests but it seemed well organised and ordered. The rooms are neat, clean and comfortable. Excellent parking facilities and easy access from the Motorway.

No fault with the venue except the post code using Sarnav took us straight past the venue. I didn't see wheelchair access but there must be some because there are a lot of steps up to it. The staff were very pleasant and there was loads of space for parking.

Treat yourselves to this fantastic hotel which was good value for money, ideal when visiting a show in Manchester. Breakfast was plentiful with a great choice. Didn't use the restaurant as we dined at the pub/restaurant just across the road which was also great value for money.

We went on a friday evening for the room and meal offer. Which looks like great value for money. It was a date night and was looking forward to a nice meal and the chance to talk about sonething other than work! We went to the resteraunt to eat as a couple and was not informed there was an 80s tribute night due to start mid way through out meal. Half way through out starter very loud music was played by a do, complete with flashing lights and from nowhere a bunch of people in tutus and neon body paint. This ruined the meal- we couldn't hear eachother talk - even though we asked them to turn it down. We spent the test of the meal in silence as got fed up of shouting at eachother across the table. We did ask for it to be turned down but this didnt happen. Although we understand it was a great offer - we would not have booked as the whole point was to have some nice relaxing quality time together. Also paid for breakfast in the morning and it was horrendous. It was cold, and not enough choice for the money paid. One toaster burnt the toast, the other didnt toast it. Overall the hotel itself is beautiful, the staff were friendly, but would be sceptible about staying again on a weekend.

Overall the hotel is clean and tidy although did smell a little musty but there is no reception as such which didn't appear to work too well as there was a couple of us who's key cards hadn't worked and therefore had to come back down to find someone to sort and also you have to pay an extra charge to use the leisure facilities.

Stayed here on a Friday night (me and girlfriend) just to do something different. The hotel is lovely and modern, the staff member who checked us in (Ashley) was really friendly and helpful and we got up to the room which was fantastic with a gorgeous bathroom and a lovely view of the river.

We went down for Dinner and things just sort of went downhill, we have nothing to majorly complain about but when a lot of small things happen over the course of an evening it sorts of spoils your stay.

Upon being seated in the restaurant the waitress told us there was no salmon left which was fine but when we ordered she returned to tell me that what I wanted was also not available which was frustrating so I ordered teryaki prawns instead. I got 6!! prawns, not big ones either but the meal was tasty if not filling. Despite booking a deal that included Dinner we managed to leave the restaurant adding £10.50 to our room bill and we only had one starter and 2 mains. The menu is designed to make you end up paying more. Things like that just bug me with hotels, trying to cash in on every part of your stay is just annoying. even the menu specifically for the deal we had booked asked for an extra fiver to have a rump steak.

Anyway we left there and went to the bar for a drink after my gf saw a cocktail she fancied (pornstar martini), it was made with cordial rather than fresh fruit juice so was pretty sickly and horrible after a couple of sips.

About 12:30 ish we ordered some last drinks as it looked as though the bar was closing down, we left them on the table and went outside for a cigarette, when we returned to the bar we were greeted by a bouncer with his arms out wide blocking our entrance back to the bar. We explained that our drinks were in the there and so had we been all evening and went in to get them, he told us we would have to drink them in reception whilst plenty of others were sitting round tables carrying on their night. As we didnt really want to sit in the reception area outside a closed starbucks we left our drinks and went to bed.

Like I said nothing major but what could have been a lovely night was spoiled by a number of small annoying things. We have stayed at the village Ashton and the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff there stands out a mile. Like chalk and cheese

Checked in at 10pm and the receptionist was lovely and upgraded my parents to a club room which was very kind. Modern refurbishment very stripy and the bed was very comfy huge TV and shower powerful and lovely espa products. The only problems was the noise and my mother phoned down at 3am and seemingly the police had already been called so noise is an issue but it was a Saturday night! Such a shame but what can you do. Otherwise come stay here!!

We had a few work parties here over the festive period - the bar is very expensive but excellently stocked and never any issues with service. Highly recommended. (From past experiences, swimming pool excellent also.)

I stayed here for two nights for my wedding. It was easy to book in and had no trouble . The room was big and clean and for the club room you get a large tv and coffee machine. Because it was going to be our kind of bridal room for the second night they offered to clean and redo the bed which was good of them.

We recently had our Wedding Breakfast and Night buffet and I have to say it was done brilliantly. The prep leading up to the event was well organised and the staff and wedding organisers were superb and helpful in making sure we covered everything.

The meal for our wedding breakfast was a 3 course meal and was served efficiently and was hot conceding we had just over 90 people. Everyone enjoyed the food and commented on the efficiency of being brought out while still hot. The staff were so helpful during the day and constantly told me to relax as it was all in hand and they were right. We were in safe hands and there was nothing to panic about.

Most of our guests including ourselves stayed there and the rooms were lovely. We had a Club room which is more fancy than your normal one and were clean and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. Breakfast in the morning has the usual, yoghurts, fruit, cereal, pastry and full english breakfast. I would recommend people to use this for your wedding.

Value for money. Stay on a regular basis taking advantage of the two night stays with dinner on the first night. The hotel is close enough to visit the town centre for a spot of shopping or a night out

We recently had our wedding reception here and it was excellent. The rooms are awesome and the staff very friendly and helpful. The wedding co-coordinator (Louise) was excellent making sure everything ran smoothly and keeping in contact with us throughout. You could tell she had a genuine passion for what she did and this made us feel relaxed (as you could be) and confident in her ability. We were then handed over to Meghan who lead the wedding team leading up to the last week before the wedding and she was as equally as good with her thoroughness and professionalism. Brilliant throughout our wedding. The only down point was when we left the reception and collected left over items the following morning and we were amazed that even though the wedding cake was a three tier there was no cake left when only a small amount had been left out for guests (even myself and new bride didn't get a piece).........Anyway everything else was superb!!!

Just a mention for Emma the young lady on reception. Some people go the extra mile to help, well this girl ran the marathon. Even though we had several issues (albeit minor ones) Emma did everything to resolve them to our satisfaction and even came down to good luck after she had finished her shift before she went home......top class customer service!!!!!
