Stayed one night for a friends wedding. Hotel staff very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay, both on reception and bar/waiting on. Good nights sleep despite disappointing lack of room cleanliness. Body hairs found on the bath edge and on the bathroom floor. Lots of dusty surfaces in the bedroom.
Turn around was weekend, so appreciate room cleaned in a rush but clearly need more cleaning staff on duty so room prep time can be increased!

Food was lovely and the staff in the public house were exceptional, spoke to a young lady called Amy who helped with everything and was very attentive. would recommend to anyone, many thanks to all the staff in the hotel. Overall a very lovely stay, will definitely be returning for business and pleasure in the future

Good quality room but disturbed until early hours by function music. Automated check in..... felt it was expensive for what it was. Difficult to find staff members. Breakfast service was good. Rooms clean.

Beautiful bedrooms, friendly staff. Convieniant Starbucks down stairs.

3night stay

Upon arrival I asked for an upgrade for my room as I wanted SKY television. (As I had realised I booked the wrong room)

Unfortunately SKY wasn't working in that room (which is the only reason I wanted to upgrade) so the next day, asked to get it fixed...

This was delt incredibly well as it only took 5 minutes from when we told the staff about the issue, to come up and try to resolve the problem.

It lead us to move rooms. Into a slightly smaller room. But with all the same amenities.

The next day our electronic room key wouldn't let us into our room... so asked to get it fixed.. and again.. with in seconds it was delt with.

We didn't leave our rooms much due to my boyfriend working nights and sleeping patterns. But this obviously ruined the house keeping regime.

They would kindly phone us up and ask if we would like our room cleaned or any towels... in which we replied 'wanting towels'.
We didn't receive one lot of towels on one of the days. But I understand as we are one of many rooms in the Village hotel. And we were being a pain.

Over all the experience was wonderful.

You have a wonderful set of staff members and should be very proud.
We will be back (if you let us)

Overall a very nice hotel.
Self check in was a little strange, not difficult but a little soulless in my opinion. Room was large, very clean and confortable.

It was a pleasure from the start of our journey to the end on the Wedding Day.
Louise Muir our Wedding Co-ordinator was the best, she helped me to Plan my Mum's and Step Dad's Wedding Breakfast and also the pre-meal drinks and the Rooms. The Bride and Groom arrived to a Red Carpet and welcomed by all the front of house staff, very surreal for them, but very appreciated.
We all went to the bar for our drinks, served by really nice staff, we were escorted to the Wedding Breakfast Meal, the room was AMAZING, there was plenty of food for everyone to enjoy, the whole experience was just great, the staff in the service for the meal was led by the 'Ops manager' Megan and her staff Amy.
Great celebrations had by all, especially the Bride and Groom.
Breakfast in the morning was full of lovely food choices to eat, all of our Family who had stayed over at the Hotel too, were there it was a lovey Get together for us all.
Mum and Dad were greeted and served by Julie Davenport, who was a great help to (Mum and Dad,) BRIDE and GROOM ...telling their story to her of how they met 60+ years later to find a spark still there and the spark turned to LOVE.....
thanks to the Village for making our Wedding day Celebrations

Really liked the hotel for value for money and service delivered upon my arrival. I had a disturbed night's sleep due to the person(s) in the room above suffering from insomnia and constantly pacing the room.

Hotel was nice, service excellent but we upgraded to a club room which was over looking the car park at the front. The window was like it was open. It was so noisey. Also the heater didn't work in the room.

Just like most of the village hotels this one will not let you down. It's nice and modern inside. I upgraded to the club room which was lovely nice and spacious with a nice big TV and with what felt like the world biggest most comfortable bed!! We slept great and will definitely be back. The pools was lovely my daughter had a great swim nice friendly staff. The changing rooms were nice and clean too really spacious. There is a lovely shopping complex 5 minutes away with the most delicious Nando's might I add. Thanks village can't wait to return.

Lovely hotel and excellent facilities but the walls in the bedrooms are paper thin, you can literally hear every word from the room next door and they werent being particularly loud. Id come again but it was annoying as we were woken many times in the night and early in the morning.

Stayed here for two nights in a Club room, with a company conference on the second day.

The staff are very welcoming, the room was nicely decorated with good facilities and a comfortable bed. Possibly too comfortable. Visits to the gym and pool were passed up for an extra hour or two of sleep.

The restaurant is good for breakfast, but the pub/bar is great for evening drinks and dinner.

Conference facilities are good as is the service provided.

Although I have their app it never works with the automatic check in at different Village Hotels.
I booked a Disabled room but I was not given one, plus on checking in I asked if I had a Disabled room however the receptionist let me go up first to check in to find it ' Was Not a Disabled room ' That's not good enough.
My room had a bath with rails, not a proper ' Disabled' room for example a wet room with a shower & seat was what I was expecting.
I paid for breakfast too but some things had run out and were not replaced.
A bit average and I was quite unhappy that they had mixed up the allocation of a Disabled room.
I rang on more than 2 occasions to make sure I was allocated a ' Disabled ' room.
This did NOT happen and as I am Disabled it's unacceptable.
I have stayed at different Village Hotels so I can genuinely tell the difference.

I stayed here for a week and Sarah, Ashley and Lauren have been excellent so friendly and kind in their help. They are a fantastic team and we're always smiling and cheerful.
Also the lady who works on the desk for the pool / a fantastic place I would come back anytime and the reception staff are the best in any hotel reception I've ever been to. Checking in and out is so quick and simple and the prices are so reasonable thankyou so much Heidi

Night time could be improved by having soft closing fire doors, instead of loud bangs all night when they are used. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. Breakfast was self service and had a very good selection of foods.

Visited for a tribute night in April 17 ..... room over crowded and difficult to get past tables as so close together.Meal average but not much taste and very few sparse veg ....I had 2 tiny potatoes on the plate ...drink prices extortionate! !!!
I purchased a bottle of wine and was charged £25.....disgusting when it can be bought for £7.99 and probably much less than that if bought in bulk .....its almost 300% mark up !!!!!! All drinks very over priced and for that reason I won't be in any hurry to go back ...... caberet didn't start until about 10.30pm and so cramped it was an effort to get to the tiny dance floor ....
What we hoped would be a good night was overshadowed by over priced drinks and bland food

We had an excellent time at this hotel. The staff were amazing. They sorted any issues we brought to their attention within minutes and always with a smile. We would definitely recommend it to everyone. Just be mindful that if you are having a family room then the sofa beds aren't too comfortable.

Hotel was great and the best part was definitely the service in the bar! Millie, Jenny, Amy and Sophie have been amazing the whole time I've stayed and I've been here for several weeks! Hope to return again soon!

Lovely hotel, it had really good amenities. Impressive TV and fan in the room. Very comfy bed. Only downfall was the drunk people at 2am as the walls are a little on the thin side. Breakfast was lovely, lots of options.

Belting accomodation.............shower AMAZING!!!! Breakfast plentiful and really tasty. Tribute party night (mowtown) was fun and managed very well by staff in catering for large number of people. The act was 100% and really good. Thoroughly enjoyable stay in all respects!!!!
