As a business consultant I stay in hotels at least 3 times a week, I can honestly say this is one of my favourites. On check in there is no fuss you can either speak to the receptionist or check in yourself using their self service check in, on check out it is even easier, you can just walk out! Very quick and easy. The rooms as spacious and clean every time, and beds are comfy. My favourite part is the amenities this hotel has to offer, the gym is one of the largest I have seen and also has a separate gym for women but you can go to both without feeling uncomfortable, it offers a whole load of fitness classes and the pool is also great.

Haven't eaten at the hotel restaurant but there's a nice pub across the road that serves a delicious carvery everyday for next to nothing, and great ice cream.

Breakfast is lovely and morning staff are spot on with their service, The Starbucks is also a nice touch if you don't have time for breakfast and the staff are very friendly.

Very pleased with my stay every time I visit this hotel.

All was good but we got an additional charge at breakfast and wasn't informed until the final invoice was produced. 20 pound for breakfast which was sub standard I deemed. Other than that rooms were pleasantly surprising. Bar ok. I guess it's better than a travel lodge.

Stayed at Bury Village before but the hotel has had a refurb and is even better than before. We stayed in a club room for the extra luxury. The bed was extremely comfortable, best nights sleep I had in ages. The newly refurbished gym is wonderful I always enjoy using the leisure facilities. Excellent value for a Sunday night.

Booked an upgraded club room - the bathroom hasn't been cleaned properly & the bed wasnt a double or kind as stated- a very disappointed 2 singles pushed together! Not even fastened together either! Very disappointing

Location: the hotel is located just outside Bury next to the motorway. It's a 20-25min walk into town or a £4 cab ride.

Service: self check-in/out. Pretty hard to find staff to help you when needed since there's no real check-in desk. Restaurant/pub service was ok.

Hotel facilities: everything you wish for. Pub, restaurant, coffee shop, gym, pool, spa. That's one of the best point about this hotel. The pool is huge and well equipped with saunas and whirlpools. The gym is also accessible. The pub's got a massive screen if you like to watch sports.

Breakfast: pretty standard breakfast buffet. Good service and nice coffee.

Room: Not very well equipped room but comfy bed and nice bathroom. No fridge or wardrobe or any storage.

Enjoyable stay however the bathroom needs attention and repairs around the bath panel, shoody and should have been dealt with agaes ago. Resataurant was ok, breakfast a little sparse by 10.15 and needs replenishing up until breakfast ends

A very modern and clean hotel across the board, easy check in and check out facilities which was a bonus. The club room was great, very spacious and the big TV and coffee machine were highly appreciated.

Great prices January Sale plus Burger me for only £1. Bury is great to Visit for a truly amazing market . Staying at the village was seamless and there new computer check was good. Nice leisure break for 3 people including breakfast at only £45 would definitely do again without hesitation

Very impressed from the start. Booking online was simple and fast, booking out was quick and easy and everything in between was great. Easy to get to as well from the motorway. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed on buy one get one free night offer. Very good value. We had stayed at nearby Premier Inn the night before and although room at the Village was smaller, it was comparable otherwise. Breakfast (included) was very nice and the hotel had superb leisure facilities. We would happily stay again, especially at that price !

Excellent party but have noticed quite a few cut backs this year. Just little things in the bedroom (no biscuits with coffee making facilities or complimentary wine, the breakfast (not as varied as usual) and the party (no crackers or party poppers) but these little things make it special. Staff as usual were excellent. Will return next year again and hopefully the "little things" will be rectified.

This was our first stay at the village hotel

I was given the option to bid for an upgrade and I was awarded it.

The overall stay was very nice indeed and would definitely recommend anyone to go there.

Club room double bed were infact 2 single beds pushed together meaning that you fell in between the beds if you went too far to the middle of the "Double"

Breakfast good and plentiful albeit service a little slow from the staff at peak times.

Very close to the motorway, I had a peaceful night sleep thanks to the extra confy mattress, I have been to nearly all the village hotel, and this one has stood out,all of the purpose build village hotels are excellent, the older ones are not so good for example Liverpool Nottingham Leeds north Birmingham. Village bury was the best hotel looks great from both outside and in

Hotel brilliant after it's recent facelift with the gym equipment second to none and open long enough for you not to find an excuse for not using them. Big tellies in the pub for the football etc. Still a bit dark in the bedrooms, not big main light. Nice beds, breakfast as good as it gets anywhere, pub comfortable with hotel prices, as usual.

Way over priced in the bar area. More pizza deliveries ive ever seen in a hotel shows people wont pay such high prices. The disabled room we was given was not for a disabled person, how can a disabled person use a bath??

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the room. I have stayed in more expensive places that were nowhere near as good. The bed was comfortable but duvet was thicker and warmer than I am used to so had to adjust the radiator and open the window to sleep properly.

Nice break, enjoyed the pool, great clean facilities. Breakfast was ok but could have been a little warmer as is the norm with buffet service. Staff very friendly throughout the hotel. We would stay again in the future.

I have stayed in the Village Hotel Bury many times before, the facilities and rooms are sufficient for a night on business. This time around however, somebody was allocated with the same room as me, and was able to use their card to enter the room that I'd already checked in to. I'm a lone female traveller, and the man was very apologetic upon entering but it could've been much worse. I visited in December and there were Christmas parties on, so there was loud music playing in to the night, but this was to be expected and there aren't usually any sound issues. Ordinarily, there are no problems but based on this trip I'm reluctant to stay again.

Had a spa day for my birthday and honestly cannot fault it the leisure facilities are great with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi with the best changing rooms I've ever used! The actual spa itself was amazing and so relaxing the staff were lovely and I'd recommend it to anyone definitely worth the money.
