I came to one of the Christmas party nights and it was fab (Hollywood). The food was okay but the entertainment was great and as a number of us had an amazing night.

I will be returning to the Village Hotel, Bury. I was over happy with everything. I'm the fussiest eater ever and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Rooms were lovely. 100% recommend

I stayed in Village for 4 nights on a business trip in a upper Deck room. One good thing about that room is that it is spacious compared to other rooms and gives full sky connection. The hotel has a humongous Gym and pool facilites are nice. However, service was not up to my expectation. On the first day, I had to call reception to ask them how to switch on the TV. I called them 4 times and no one answered the call. I eventually had to go down to them to ask my question. On complaining that no one answered my call, instead of apologizing they said they were very busy. Furthermore, the plates kept at the top for breakfast aren't the cleanest. Lastly, on one of the nights I order a chicken burger in the Pub. The waitress initially got me a burger without any chicken in it. Although before I started eating she came back and took the plate away informing me that chef informed her that burger wasn't ready and she had already served it. Overall it was a good hotel with nice facilities, however, there is an enormous scope for improvement in service.

Been to the Village Hotel lots of times, used to go for awards ceremonies when my sister was at school. The rooms are lovely and bar areas are comfy and relaxed. The staff are nice and welcoming.

The Village Hotel is a superb business venue, from simply meeting a client for coffee in Starbucks or the comfy lounge, over lunch in the Victory Pub or even utilising one of the meeting rooms. Excellent facilities and the most helpful staff ever,

I have been coming here for many years now and like the convenience it brings. Different areas of the hotel, different atmosphere dependant on who you meet or what you are there for. I like the fact that you're never rushed or hurried.

The Village is always a great place for me to arrange meetings with our members. I tend to use the Victory Pub as it's spacious and airy. You are not rushed at all and the staff are always extremely helpful.

Visit the pub regularly for lunch. It has a great menu and the staff are always friendly. A good place to meet friends for a catch up due to it's location off the motorway.

The swimming pool facilities are great, good steam room, good facilities and very relaxing. Great to have Starbucks to visit after a swim.

The Village Hotel has a very nice swimming pool and leisure club. The Starbucks makes it even better - hot chocolate with marshmallow sticks Mmmm. (Alex aged 10)
