Stayed at the village hotel as it was the nearest hotel to where my grandson was having his birthday party along with his cousins who travelled from Torquay. We had food in the restaurant on the first night as we had booked a two night deal. The food was similar to what is supplied at KFC or Burger King which is ok for first night. The room was clean if a little warm and staff helpful when the room key would not work.

If you intend to stay at this hotel with a toddler and baby beware its extremely hot with no aircon in the rooms. Im staying in a family room. I have been informed that this is one of the older village hotels with no aircon in any of the rooms. Its abit of a maze to get around to find your room if you have an upgraded room so you may get lost. The service is great. The receptionist has done everything to help and gave additional fans. You will need to sleep with the fans on at night.

Good hotel which does what it says on the tin! Comfortable and clean rooms with good facilities. Great access to the gym and good selection of food available. Room service App was a little hit and miss - had to go and pick up my order and was late.

Just had my wedding here on 11/06/22. From start to finish the the 2 days we were there was absolutely fantastic. Could not fault the hotel. They made us feel so welcome and looked after. The venue and the room was stunning, just how I imagined and even more. The food was the best. Would like to say thank you to Jessica Greenbank for all your help in organising everything. The lady that was at the event in the day who came to collect me from the room, so sorry cannot remember her name she was fab. Also would like to shout out to Claire who was there for 2 nights organising the room set up, the food and entertaining us all night. She is a great asset to the village hotel, she was absolutely brilliant and could not of made our day so special.
Thank you so much ❤️❤️

I stay at The Village hotels all over the UK but use this one the most as it's only 10 mins from head office . A great hotel with excellent facilties and onside car parking . I would give this 5 star rating but dropped it to 4 because the food ( especially evening option could do with improving ,more choice less burgers )

We have been to the Village at Bury numerous times and have always enjoyed our stay. All the staff are lovely and friendly. The breakfast is self-service and includes full english, cereals, toast etc. we used the spa facilities which are great however just one small criticism is the pool is always packed with kids and swimming lessons. We are back again in July and are looking forward to it. Recommended!

Stayed last weekend at this hotel. What can I say ?? FABULOUS!!! Every member of staff had a smile on their face (it was quite infectious). !! Nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped my husband in the gym area and swimming pool. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The rooms were spotless - and comfy beds !! Would move in if I could. Thank you all at Bury !! We’ll be back.

I attended an event for Annabelle's challenge, I travelled from Australia to attend the event, I was greeted by great service especially from a girl named Caitlin, she has a great personality, she made me feel welcome and made sure I was enjoying my visit, I tavel to England a lot and this was by far the best experience I've had in any hotel, great facilities, great people, amazing experience

I stayed here recently with my family.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Sarah and Donetta. My kids loved the swimming pool.
Excellent amenities and a nice modern bar and restaurant area. I will visit again soon.

I have been delivering training to health care staff on a regular basis at this hotel. The rooms are conducive for good training events and the support from all staff is amazing. Worthy of specific mention are Alison, Harry and Ryan who have responded positively to a wide range of requests from delegates as well as helping the trainer resolve any IT issues that occur. It is also appreciated that we get to leave training equipment here between events which greatly helps with transportation. I actively look forward to delivering training here and a large part of this is knowing that Alison, Harry and Ryan are there to support. Thank you!

Had a lovely weekend here , the reception team were so friendly and helpful , they couldn’t do enough to make the weekend excellent , told us about some lovely areas to walk.

Breakfast was spot on , didn’t eat onsite as we were meeting friends in the town but menu looked nice when I had a browse.

Had a lovely swim and it was so clean. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely.

We will be back and would recommended it in a heartbeat.

Thank you to all the lovely staff
