A sad baby and a unhappy birthday girl I booked a meal for my daughters birthday for quarter to 7 we went to restaurant to be told we had to wait till 8/30 to put order thru for food as they were under staffed.so we left to go somewhere else to eat they have charged my car for 3drinks in restaurant that I did not have or order, the WiFi internet was not working so my 4year old was very upset I went down to see if they could help and they told me I would have to pay extra I payed over 200 on rooms also the shower was dirty there was only one big towel and one small in each room and no milk to have a brew I book here every month I am extremely unhappy Restaurant prices

Pleasant Room was clean and comfortable, staff I dealt with were nice and friendly. There were a lot of customers not wearing facemasks despite the clear signage around the property and there was no apparent effort from any staff to enforce this. Obviously this is not applicable for the restaurant, but the check in area should have this government instruction enforced.

Good Paid £130 for the night which was ment to include access to the spa, jacuzzi closed sauna closed steam room closed, wouldn’t allow us in bar cause there was too many people and couldn’t seat us in restaurant for same reason, Paid £130 for the night which was ment to include access to the spa, jacuzzi closed sauna closed steam room closed, wouldn’t allow us in bar cause there was too many people and couldn’t seat us in restaurant for same reason, Staff gave us a 50% refund as we couldn’t use anything in hotel, had to walk to a pub across the road for food and drinks

Had an amaxing 2 night stay for our 14th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing as was the service. We would especially like to thank Sarah the hotel reception manager, Emma and Faye for their service and hospitality

Always friendly and welcoming. Went that extra mile for a 7 year old. As soon as they realised it was her birthday they wrote happy Birthday in her dessert ( Bethany) and upgraded her ice-cream to chocolate cake and sang to her. Didn't ask for any of this. All staff are friendly and warm. Will definitely be back. Thank you ☺️

Superb Idea location for me no problems, some confusion with covid 19 but that is the same all over the country. Will book again when the time is right. Did work out expensive for 2 days, but no issues with hotel or staff

I stayed here last week with my mum dad and daughter and my daughter left her cuddly lamb teddy which she has had since newborn its very special to her after many hours hunting around for it i decided to ring the hotel just to see if it was left there i called the hotel and a lady answered the phone i didn't get her name she took my contact number and said she would call me back. within the hour i had a call back it was great news they found it the reason i write this review as i have visited hotels in the past and left things there and they have never got back to me but the staff took the time to look for it and they sent it to me in the post with a nice note on the front of it top marks from me !

Very nice and clean hotel with bar & gym & pool facilities(extra cost). The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful - my room faced the evening sun and was extremely ward during the recent heat wave and the very kind lady on reception moved me to a front room without the sun which was a lot cooler. The hotel does not have air-conditioning but does have Dyson fans :)

Great for what we needed it for you The location was excellent The removal of the kettles while understandable was a bit silly as we had an iron and a remote control as well as a hairdryer so why were the kettles removed? The pillows were far to thin and the room was very dark.

Superb Despite Covid, and local restrictions the hotel and its safety measures were very good. Hand sanitizer everywhere, distancing markers and one way system in place

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel. There are some noticeable and understandable practices now in place due to the COVID pandemic.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The only criticism I would have is the price of the breakfast, we paid £7.50 for the breakfast (it would have been £10, but was offered it for £7.50 if we paid at the point of check in). We hadn’t realised it was grab and go until after we had paid. The grab and go was ok, you get a paper bag with a cup (to get your own coffee), a cereal bar, small yogurt and a fruit pot and then you get a hot bacon sandwich. I think it was a little overpriced for what you get, I would expect it to be around £5.

Had I of known what you get for the money I would of left it and gone somewhere else nearby.

Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

Excellent room front of house staff and even the lil cleaning lady always smiled. We booked a club room which was amazing biggest bed ever television with sky hd and the best showers ever but the lack of a main bright light only lamps and the pub next door not part of the village is ideal for the meals especially buffet style breakfast that’s lacking at the village

Served a purpose. No hot beverage in room. TV complicated with no sleep timer.

Only down side was there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, towels did'nt get changed unless you asked and also the room was'nt made during the day but understand this was due to the current climate situation. Room was ok, shower nice and bed comfy.

Only down side was there was no tea/coffee facilities, no room maid and you had to request new towels in the room but understand this was due to the current climate and not the hotels fault.
