Don’t waste your money. We should have stayed home. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms!
Breakfast came in a box!!!! Terrible!!! If they can serve an evening meal why can’t they serve a hot breakfast. Basically paid for a cup of coffee........which was cold!? Won’t be stopping again. My opinion........look elsewhere, very very disappointed.

Pleasant The room was clean and a decent size with good lighting and a nice tv. The restaurant and bar area was also fantastic and the staff were great. There was no hot water from either the tap or shower in the room in the afternoon even after running them both for 20 minutes. The toilet also would not flush properly and trickled all night making it hard to sleep.

I stayed here for a night in business recently.
I was impressed by the room, decent size and nice facilities.
Due to the corona virus hype, I decided to order room service & not mix with lots of unknown people in the bar/restaurant.
What a disappointment it was..... firstly it arrived in polystyrene burger type boxes inside a paper carrier bag, not exactly tray service you’d normally expect...... then I didn’t have exactly what I’d ordered...... the pint of orange juice & lemonade had a red measuring cup left in it !!
The food was unappetising due to the sweaty nature of it being served the way it was I suspect.
The breakfast buffet was very disappointing, I don’t usually go for the cooked option, so,rely on the buffet. Coffee was awful. Only saving grace was the Starbucks inside the hotel lobby, so I could pay extra for decent coffee and savoury.
On checking out, I told the staff how bad room service was and they offered me a 50% discount......
Such a shame, it was a poor experience.

I attended a dinner in aid of the Royal Marines Charity, and the staff at this hotel were top notch. Would like to say a personal thanks to Joanne (team leader) for all her help and hard work during the dinner.

Enjoyable stay throughout, poolside was exactly what we were looking for. All communal areas were clean and contemporary. Breakfast was pricey at £10 each so we chose the Inn next door for half the price. Very busy hotel so not a place for a quiet weekend break but good atmosphere.

Comfortable, clean, excellent facilities and superb value for money. Will stay there again. Value for money excellent (£30 including breakfast). Comfort, facilities and staff great. Easy free parking. Location pretty good, near motorway junction, fairly close to centre of Bury. No full cooked breakfast the day I stayed, but they did provide bacon/egg buns (plus toast, cereals etc). Lighting in room not ideal, but no big deal. Would be nice if hotel was a bit nearer to centre of Bury, but no big deal.

Due to the horrible Coronavirus situation there is an extended offer and £39 for BB/night, we decided to spend the night instead of driving home in the dark. Yes, the check in on computer is also not to my taste, but the lady assisted and all was fine. The question is always would you come again? Yes is the answer.

Great staff, room could be improved. The staff were very helpful, especially the man on reception and the staff in the restaurant and bar. It has a good atmosphere and is in a good location. We did not use the spa or gym facilities. Only one pillow each in the bedroom. The walls were paper thin. We could hear the couple next door having their conversations and other activities!! The coffee was lukewarm and bitter at breakfast time and weak and lukewarm in the evening. The room was very cold on arrival.

Staying for business meant choice was not an option. Check in was sterile with no where to hang your suits whilst checking in, no place for bags, no room assistance so someone with a disability must really struggle, I struggled and I'm suffering with arthritis, no help was offered for my struggles. Evening bar was constant noise, 2 out of 5 ordered things were got wrong; half my meal was very hot (temperature = good) the other half was luke warm as if it had been standing about. The vegetables looked far from fresh and were limp in the extreme. Breakfast was a little better, good selection and food was hot. No cranberry juice and eggs cooked for me were underdone. Toaster was a joke - either anemic warm bread or the stuff was on fire! I have stayed in a range of Village Inns (through business) and yet to have a complete and satisfactory meal. Everything seemed plastic and sterile, but although my bedroom was clean, others in my party found items on the floor in their room which showed that the room had clearly not been cleaned properly.

The door was broken. I asked for it to be fixed but no one came Beds very comfy. Staff helpful. I think the drinks are very expensive and not a lot of choice for food. I ordered a cocktail and the barmaid forgot to put any alcohol in and only mentioned it after I drank half.. which she did not even offer to replace it at nearly £10 a glass.

Our stay was satisfactory Overall our stay was good, the room was very clean and tidy. Self check in was easy , I liked it. I cannot comment about breakfast since we didn't have breakfast during our stay. May next time we will. Only one concern the bed was not comfortable as it was a double bed made of 2 singles bed. It would have been better if they had just one double bed .

Positives - Plenty of parking, great staff.

Negatives - Poor lighting in room (spotlights at door and two bedside lamps) making it poor for working in.
£5 parking charge is unjustifiable.
Breakfast is average yet expensive.
Brown sludge in kettle (perhaps a clever business model as I ended up buying a coffee from the in hotel Starbucks).
Lots of noise transfer between rooms (perhaps due to the adjoining door between rooms?) so I was kept up until 1:30 am by the buzz saw snorer next door.
Some maintenance and upkeep issues in room.

Great night, friends hen party. Meal was of a high standard for the numbers being served. Solo & Motown night. Singer and disco brilliant. Bar service very slow and high priced. Poor selection of tonics and the correct garnish. Otherwise great value for money.

Enjoyable family party venue. Size of room good. Bed large and comfortable. Nice and warm. No where in bathroom to hang towels. Only 1 pillow per person no spares in room. Tv had no sound on some channels. Not enough teabags and milk provided.
