Hi Richard, Thanks a lot for your help today, it turned out to be only a flat battery on our Volvo V40. We noticed McCarthy Cars fitted a replacement battery that is working fine. Since we bought it we've probably done less than 100 miles, all in short trips, parked in cold weather etc... The RAC warranty you gave us was great; the engineer was really thorough and helpful.
