I have always loved Italian food but this places makes me love it even more. Forever recommending this restaurant to friends and family for its food and friendliness from the staff!! Whenever Myself or friends come in they are always greeted with a smile and the best service of course with a smile and a friendly voice. My girlfriend and I walked in with no reservation, and the waitress (restaurant's owner's daughter) was beyond nice in sitting us, while setting up a better table for our date. She was very professional, genuine, friendly, and very well knowledgeable about the menu. The pizza was extremely well done, and digestible, with all the ingredients (friarelli, mozzarella, and salsiccia) simply, and finely prepared. In addition, we ordered grilled seafood (swordfish and prawns) that were both very juicy, tasty, and fresh. Eventually, our waitress offered us espresso and limoncello, making this icing on the cake.

Had a family lunch the toher day and we all were surprised with the price of the set menu. The food was good and with good amount - we all were so full at the end even with two courses. The restaurant was also so kind to offer some freshly baked bread to start with. The set menus were absolutely bargain!

We stumbled in and were first told that there was no tables, but they checked to be sure, and got us one. Then they said that there was a little bit of waiting to get the food, but it came practically within two minutes of the needed cooking time.
And the food was very good, both pizza and pasta. Of our dishes the wild boar ravioli was the favourite.

I highly recommend Anema e core if you want to taste the very Italian food. They have the best pizza in town and the octopus served in a bed of mash potatoes is mouthwatering! The staff is absolutely lovely and very caring with clients. I will definitely come back.

Husband and wife team in the kitchen, daughter in front of house makes a winning combination!Pizza and pasta are excellent, as well as their antipasti selection. Very nice wine list and lovely beer on tap.
100% best Italian restaurant in Eastbourne if not on the south coast.Already planning our next visit, highly recommend it!
