Been here many times ,im Italian and struggle to find authentic Italian food elsewhere . No problems here ! Anema e core marries a relaxed,family restaurant with great food and service . Fantastic pizzas courtesy of their imported Italian pizza oven and hand made desserts . Attentive and friendly waiting staff . Recently had a surprise birthday party here afor my partner , arranged by me with 14 friends . Same quality food, service and experience . Highly recommended particularly

Fantastic service (friendly, knowledgeable, quickly brought any requests, drinks). Food was authentic as this was the best Italian meal outside of Italy I've ever had. Can't wait to go again.

My Dad is from Naples and the pizza here is very good and authentic. Ask for mozzarella di bufala pizza. I had one with mushrooms and my daughter had mozzarella di bufala and tomato pizza. Delicious. Best pizza in Eastbourne.

This has to be the best Italian we have visited in this country. Recommend the Boar meat Ravioli & the Tagliatelle pasta with Italian sausage/cream- yummy. Excellent staff, attentive & professional. Shame we do not live near Eastbourne

Friendly staff, restaurant pleasant inside except for the plastic chairs which was unexpected. Food was ok but not as I had thought it would be and came away feeling disappointed. I am a diabetic and only drink gin and slimline tonic. There was only Gordon’s gin and no slimline tonic, very disappointing. Glad we tried the restaurant but wouldn’t return when there are other Italian restaurants in town.

With family between Christmas and New Year we visited from Kent and had a really good Italian lunch. Service was quick, food was authentic Neapolitan recipes, and the whole experience was one we would wish to repeat. My wife ate gluten-free, and the rest of the family enjoyed vegetarian pizzas with delicious cherry tomatoes and a flavoursome pizza base. The warmth from the nearby pizza oven was an added bonus on a winter's day!

The food is delicious, fresh and clean tasting. The service is great, very friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. They remember you from one visit to the next. We have tried most of the menu and are never disappointed. Book early as they are increasingly busy of an evening, however it is very relaxed and there's never any attempt to hurry you along.

We ate early on a Friday before a children's performance at a theatre in town. The choices were fine and the waiting staff friendly. We all had 2 courses and the starters came up quickly. My main course pasta was barely warm but as I was sharing with my grandson it was not a problem. The pizzas were large and good. Prices were pretty standard.
All in all the experience was good but I personally would like to try other places in Eastbourne before returning.

We ate here last night and the food was amazing! We were seated quite near to the pizza oven which was lovely and cosy and it was interesting watching the pizza's being cooked. I had a yummy aperol cocktail, and we had a cheesy garlic bread and olives to start. I went for the steak which was cooked to perfection whilst my husband had the meat calzone which was absolutely massive but so good he couldnt bear to leave any. I had the limoncello sponge desert which was to die for! I also got to try some meloncello which was very yummy. We arent local to eastbourne but if we ever do visit again we would eat here again.

Visited with 12 ex work colleagues for a Christmas Dinner with a difference! Made a great change from the usual turkey etc. Excellent service and food, with complimentary Limoncello to finish. Lovely!

Friendly staff nice atmosphere, average food. Would visit again but nothing to shout about. Had the lasagne, I would rate it as good, and would benefit from some seasoning as the taste was fairly bland. Side order of chunky chips was a reasonable portion, would benefit from being less greasy, I suspect the cooking fat may need refreshing, the cook ought to spot this though.

Visited this lovely restaurant again last week. The pizza is authentic and delicious. Its so difficult to choose between the pizza and pasta! Reasonable priced wine. A friendly family restaurant. We are in Eastbourne next week so will be back!

Called in for a late lunch. Not busy. Staff very helpful and attentive. Food (pasta) was delicious. I accidentally left my bag but they had kept it safe for me when I called back later. Definitely recommended1

We phoned on the off chance that they allow dogs and they do in a very cosy bar area. We ordered our food and it came very quickly and looked fantastic and tasted even better. The staff were fantastic and the whole atmosphere was brilliant!! Thank you and will definitely be back

For my daughter's 21st we booked a table for six including a child. We were warmly welcomed, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. The bill was extremely reasonable also. We had just come back from Italy on holiday so had something authentic to compare it to: it came out trumps. It's the kind of restaurant you don't want to recommend because you might not get a place next time. Definitely will return and thank you.
