It has been a while that we have been able to visit, but delighted to say we were not dissapointed. Service and frienliness of staff is excellent and the food is lovely which can be borne out by the popularity of this lovely gem of an Italian restaurant. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Last week my wife and i during a short trip to Eastbourne we had the pleasure of knowing a beautiful place, the anema e core restaurant. With soul and heart the owners, a wonderful family, has pampered us with the genuineness of their cuisine, we had dinner eating real italian pizza with original and genuine ingredients.
We had lunch the following day delighted by the goodness of the fried fish (frittura all'italiana) and by the tasty "spaghetti alla pescatora" also presented with love.Our wonderful experience of tastes ended with the proposal of desserts, they were unique and tasted delicious, delizia and torta babba' and other specialities. In our journey, we have been guided by Lia, very nice and very good in advising us.

After it’s recent move to Terminus Road, my boyfriend and I decided to try it out.
We live on the street and saw the pizza oven inside as we were walking past one day and were really wanting a PROPER pizza!

Everything was INCREDIBLE.I’m not at all a wine expert (I barely drink to be honest!) but it was a very fresh, light wine, went down easy and it went perfectly with everything we had.
The burrata pizza was AMAZING. It was *chefs kiss*. Beautiful. Incredible. The pizza of my dreams. Cooked to perfection in their lovely pizza oven. The dough was unreal!Pasta was fresh, beautiful sauce. Pasta had that perfect springy texture.
Anema e Core platter was larger than I thought it would be but absolutely no complaints, I basically ate the entire thing to myself! Large selection of good quality meats and lovely cheeses, artichoke was really good too.Calamari was perfectly cooked.
Arancino was delicious. Wish I had a bigger stomach to order more!All in all, for one of my boyfriend and I’s first meals out within the last year, I am so glad we came here.
The food was amazing, the staff were so lovely, welcoming and accommodating.All covid procedures were met and we felt safe.

This restaurant was an amazing find. The best Italian food I have ever eaten even in Italy. The service was out of this world. Helpful advice on selecting the menu. A genuine Italian feel. Last night we went back after a while and I have to say it's still the best Italian food you can find in Eastbourne. This time we had pizza and we felt like we were in Italy.

First visit after the restaurant moved from Bolton Road. Home made pasta was really fantastic . We visited twice in three days and plan to go again next weekend. Very good food indeed. Good service.

The friendly welcome, genuinely Italian ambience and quite simply the best food have been successfully transplanted to their new location. Whether you enjoy the pavement cafe culture a stone’s throw from the seafront or sit inside and watch Mr and Mrs B at the ovens creating magic, the experience is sublime. Perfect combination of super pizza and pasta for families and some authentic more complex dishes for the aficionado.
