Dropped into Eastbourne to get an evening meal. We didn't know where to go but chose Anema e Core by chance. Real quality food and great, friendly service. Will definitely go there again when we next visit the town.

Loved the new menu and location. We tried Linguine alle vongole and pappardelle with a lovely duck ragu. Both delicious! Everything was exceptionally good and friendly service.

The staff were so welcoming we felt like long lost friends. I understand the family run restaurant recently relocated to this location.
So much thought has gone into every last detail even down to the crockery which had patterns of Amalfi blue.
It goes without saying the food was really high quality and produced with love. It was everything we would expect from a top notch Italian Trattoria.

We regularly go to Anema e Core. It is run by an Italian family who are experts in the restaurant trade. They remember the names of their customers and individual preferences. For example I like extra garlic and they always remember this when taking the order. We have used their take away service weekly during lockdown and the food is just as good when you eat at home with very good sized portions.

I am a regular at Anema e Core and I love the atmosphere there ! This time I decided to try their take away option. It was amazing as always!!! I ordered on the web site with the Click and Collect option, easy and quick!
When I got home the food was still nice and hot , the packaging was impeccable. Pizza Friarielli e Salsiccia absolutely amazing and the Gnocchi Gorgonzola e Noci prefect as always! We also tried some of the Street Food and it was just Wow!! Nice end with the Tiramisu and Nutella Pizza !!

I ordered a takeaway through the click&collect on the website yesterday and it was everything delicious! The Arancini and Calzone fritto were sooo yummy! You have to try it!

I'm italian and I've eaten here 3 times. I can say that they make real italian food, every kind of pizza and pasta are amazing and I suggest to everyone to try it.

We visit Anema e Core often, either for a takeaway pizza or dining out. Anything they do is great and the atmosphere is warm and cosy. Their pizzas are so soft and loaded with fresh ingredients. Their lasagna is rich and tasty. I strongly suggest you to ask for some limoncello at the end of your meal. It's like being back to Italy. And they put a lot of attention to Covid policies, with everyone wearing a mask and respecting social distance.
