Checked out the new site at the Beacon today. Its really excellent - the screens are large, seats comfortable and sight-lines from the stadiums seats is great. The sound quality is very good and the projection quality is excellent. The laser projection is really nice, contrast and brightness is very good and I only spotted a small amount of laser speckle.
Only down sides was the 28 minutes of adverts (a bit much). Also would be nice to have somewhere to sit in the foyer when your waiting. The screen I was in was common width, resulting in a smaller screen for 2.39:1 scope films - not ideal but pretty standard on new installs.
Its really nice having a decent cinema in Eastbourne. Its a joy to have a place with high end kit and a nice environment. We went on opening day so it was spotless and the projection was flawless. Hopefully they will maintain these standards in cleaning and maintenance.

Enjoyed my visit. Cinema, refreshments and staff all good. Only two downsides are there's nowhere to sit with a coffee whilst waiting for your film time to get near, and that Screen 2 could definitely do with more soundproofing as the quite sections of our film were disturbed several times by the sounds of people chatting and laughing loudly in the foyer.

We live about 10minutes away from our cineworld. There is plenty of parking with no charge . We have got to know most people there although I am a friendly person anyway
I live Colin to Bits . Myself and Josh always says he's such a lovely Young man. He always speaks to me as Debbie and I love that never ignores us either. He would get told off my me if he did.
