We attended a Tom Jones tribute concert at the Bandstand. The tickets were inexpensive and easily available on line. The concert was great fun and entertaining but. Many of the audience sang slowly by and danced to the music. Well worth a visit and would go again.

A very pleasant evening with he LGB Brass band playing on the bandstand and finishing off with spectacular fireworks at the end of the 1812 concerto. Restrooms are nearby.

The Bandstand is potentially a great visitor attraction wonderful location of much historic interest and as advertised " The most visited bandstand in the UK " but what could also be said of the bandstand the most badly maintained bandstand in the UK sorely in need of some TLC, it must come to visitors as a shock peeling paint cracked concrete bodged repairs not something to be proud off.

Just a small amount of money could improve the appearance and give a vast improvement to the visitor experience and return to greatness one of Eastbourne's treasures.

Have enjoyed a couple of the 1812 Firework Nights and attended a Songs of Praise recording. Great acoustics and environment to enjoy the music. Quite a variety of different style events and very reasonably priced. Will definitely attend more events. Weather has been nice each time so not sure what it's like with inclement weather.

These summer concerts are vey popular and offer a wide variety of music styles. Wednesday evenings the concert finishes with the1812 overture and an excellent fireworks display.
There are lots of "tribute" concerts as well and therefore attracts a wide range of audiences.
Prior to concerts commencing, large screens are put up all around the external area of the bandstand as large crowds used to gather for a " freeby" and watch from the pavement area.

We went on Saturday 12/7/2017 to watch a Rod Stewart Tribute act. Just to say he was excellent, he had the crowd in his hands, he sings and moves just like the real man himself. For only £7.75 I would have to say is excellent value for money for an hour and a half performance. The sound was great make sure you get there early to sit on the ground level seats the best, not to say that the balcony seats aren't great, but they are open to the elements if the weather is not very good. There is also a bar for drinks and snacks. Would highly recommend this venue if you are stuck for something to do one evening. The toilets are just outside the venue 20p a time.

Excellent evening with family - danced the night away!!
Relaxed, cheap, fun night out. Easy to buy tickets, collect at the door on the night and great to be on the seafront for a stroll on the promenade afterwards or pop into town for a meal.

Finally got around to going to one of the tribute shows, Sounds of Simon (and Garfunkel), did not disappoint. Excellent renditions of all my favourite songs and more, top notch band from Leicester. Made sure I was wrapped up warm as the temperature drops quickly when the sun goes down, especially sitting in the shade. We heard the Fleetwood Mac tribute a couple of weeks ago whilst sitting on the beach, still sounded good but the acoustics inside are much better, punchier, better bass, no echo.
Got a Friends of the Bandstand card now, 10% off all the shows and discount at the bar (and at the Buccaneer), and it lasts for 3 years! All for a fiver, perfect Christmas present!
Now looking forward to one of the ABBA shows.

Absolutely love this place. We are now officially friends of Eastbourne Bandstand. We have been to several shows here now and it never fails to dissapoint. Well priced tickets for good quality shows. (Discounted tickets and drinks if you become a Friend. Also cheap). A very pleasing evening out.
A lot of it is open air with some shelter so may get chilly in the evening or check for rain.
Licensed bar available on site.

We often visit the shows during the summer. We normally take a disabled adult who really enjoys the shows. They often join in, especially if a rock band takes part. It can be busy, but offers a safe environment. A good fun evening out.

EXCELLENT NIGHT OUT & VERY CHEAP!! Got the early bird tickets for £7.75 each. Concert started 8pm & scheduled to finish 9:30pm. Fantastic lively atmosphere, plenty of room to dance. There is a bar on site & drinks reasonable. For those whom don't drink alcohol, coffee, tea, water is available - snacks such as crisp & nuts available at the bar. If you are planning a trip to Eastbourne it is a must see in your list of things to do. We will definitely go again. We had the best time ever, it was Amazing!!

Wonderful evening even considering the terrible weather. The band were amazing and played beautifully despite gale force winds. Amazing soloist named Margaret whose rendition of a lullaby was so exquisite I was reduced to tears.

We arrived too late to buy tickets, but stayed outside to listen it was lovely. The fireworks at the end were spectacular. If your in Eastbourne on a Wednesday evening, this starts at 8pm & is well worth watching. I can't wait to visit again.

I visited as the wife wanted to see a Neil Diamond tribute band - didn't want to go but you know how it is! What a great, great evening, a visit to Harry Ramsden fish and chip shop just a hundred yards from the bandstand, sitting on a bench on the seafront while eating them, selecting a seat inside the bandstand with no stress whatsoever, a bar just a few feet away and a great show!

I attended two concerts here, and I have attended others over past year or two, included Tchaikovsky Firework concert, a band night and a salsa Cuban night.
Concerts are well organised and there is a bar in here. One tip is to sit under shelter as if windy it can be cool if sitting outside. First come, first served but if you pre book you get early bird offer.
Very enjoyable evenings and opportunity to dance too as space in front of bandstand. Security and bar workers are very professional. Overall a very pleasant and worth while experience. Always a varied programme during the Summer months.
