Good covid measures, friendly staff, but note that this was just the shop not the museum which is closed due to covid.

This museum is on one of the many sites of the old Eastbourne Lifeboat, which now operates out of Eastbourne Harbour.
It is free to enter
It is rather small but has many photo's charts and artifacts to keep you interested for a while between those promenade walks.
Has many gifts to sell in order to raise money for RNLI causes.

Located West end of promenade by the Wish Tower, staffed by volunteers who are knowledgeable about the RNLI. Well stocked shop full of interesting memorabilia and gifts at reasonable prices. Well worth supporting as the RNLI do an amazing job on the high seas.

This is a very small area, but plenty of interesting things to see and buy,to support the wonderful life guard's who risk their lives every day. Everyone should visit this place when they visit Eastbourne.

A look in here is a welcome break from your stroll along the promenade. Don't expect too much although the building is an old and well kept lifeboat station. There are a number of items for sale including cards. At the back is a small free exhibition area which explains the context of the local RNLI. The volunteer staff are friendly, helpful and informative and the place is worth visiting just to chat to them.

this shows the great history of the Lifeboats inEastbourne and well worth a visit. You can see the modern day RNLI rigid boats esp at the annual airshow

Museum is a huge push. It is a shop, with some space at the rear for a few exhibits

An interesting visit, but things for sale in the souvenir shop are good quality but too overpriced. However, the lifeboats need as much money as possible so can't really blame them for high prices.
