This place shows you how the RNLI work and what rescues they have done over the years. You get to see the lifeboat and how it works. They rely on donations to a great extent but they are a vital point to save lives

This museum on the seafront is well worth a visit, is very interesting and either donate or purchase something that contributes to the Lifeboats. An amazing organisation with very brave volunteers who risk their lives saving others.

My mother was a lifelong supporter of the RNLI and I am all in favour of them, so do go and buy something, but this visit won't take you long as there's not much to see!

A very interesting small museum and volunteer run shop in the original lifeboat house. The boat is now kept further along the sea front. Well worth visiting and nice gardens beside it for a picnic near the Wish Tower. It was a small part of a whole day in Eastbourne and one of the places of interest that we got on and off at from the open top bus which tours a large area around the area.

The RNLI is a very worthy charity and institution, and we certainly didn't begrudge wandering along to the Eastbourne museum, but our little boys were quite disappointed at the lack of anything more than a couple of scaled models of lifeboats. They have visited the Henry Blogg Museum in Cromer and Lifeboat launching station at the end of Cromer Pier and love these places, so I think they hoped to find something similar. It is a nice little shop and the volunteers were very welcoming, giving our boys stickers, which somewhat placated them!

This is really just a shop for RNLI, nothing of a museum exists apart from two old poster boards at the back of the small room

Well worth a visit although it is quite small and mainly information boards. However the history was fascinating.

A very interesting museum and shop. We often visit lifeboat stations and do all we can to support the true heroes. Reading some of the tales of their deeds is a humbling experience.
