Free entry, great views and some bits and pieces to explore e.g. glass blowing shop, Victorian Café, amusements. Walk to the end then look back and admire Eastbourne's cosmopolitan coast line- very continental in style.

The Pier is characteristic, it's a shame that several shops are empty and the rest are mostly arcades, but everything appears shabby.

Loved it the sea air the exploring it .a proper old pier like we used to have at the seaside. You can just sit ,take in all that good sea air or eat fish n chips .or let the children have a go in the amusements.

Good and close to railway station. Parking could be a trouble on busy days. Stoney beach, hurts like hell after a while so make sure to have footwear. Buzz active is a nice kayak hire place. Fort fun and treasure Island are nice kids activity areas. Overall nice place to visit with family.

Not as spectacular as Brighton, not as modern as Hastings. Still Charing, as it's not as crowded as Brighton.
Prices for ice cream or snacks are naturally quite high, but you can find enough alternatives in the surrounding area.
