Hui outside, casino inside. You shouldn't look at the pier from below, otherwise you'll be afraid that it will collapse. It looks very rotten.

Lovely day, weather was great and the pier was being spruced up for summer visitors. Only slight negative the arcade and slots were pretty cheesy

Great day in Eastbourne tour bus starts at the pier goes up on the downs and back to town pier great as well

Well, fine, if you like gambling machines I suppose. I had a picture of some joyful Asian youngsters full of joie-de-vivre against a backdrop of the Pier oceanside. Visitors would be a bit better off promenading when tide's out. On whole Eastbourne reasonable: town a bit seedy though. Mike, Bracknell
