Nice traditional pier with Victorian tea room , bar, shops and a few amusements. Plenty of seating and sheltered areas. Free admission.

Great to be on the pier again, drinks are a bit expensive though.

The pier itself is fine, but the tea room on there is not that good. We didn't get served even though we were sitting in the tea room for more than ten minutes. They appear to be quite disorganised with no one in charge. A lot of cakes were being moved around and some chap was mopping up and taking the odd order in no particular order, so we gave up and left. Shame really as it's a great business location, ruined by poor service.

The pier was great. The amusement were a rip off . Two machines didn't work properly and the staff were not interested. One was a grab you one as you enter. The grab didn't go down as far as the toys .The other was the 10p post one the money dropped but didn't come out

Its ok but not like it was before. There are small pop up arcades dotted along the pier and a tea room. But in my view where the old arcade was its not being used to its full advantage. We also had fish and chips from the chippy on there and the chips where soggy and could tell they where smart price ones and over priced

Well kept and a few good things to do. I like that the effort has been made: tea room, bar, arcade, benches. And the pier is in a good state. We had fun.

The current owner has certainly tidied up the pier. It had become very tired and possibly a little dangerous in places. This is no longer the case. The owner has also reintroduced fishing at the end of the pier. I hope this is a successful move.
