Lived here for near on 30 years and love being by the sea, but our fantastic pier really lost its soul after the fire a few years ago. They never replaced the old ball room with all the arcade games, real shame.

One of a decreasing number of piers on the South coast, not much going on when I visited but nice to see the pier could still attract some visitors even on a cold day in Feb.

Nice for a walkaround or sit down for a sandwich, has been refurbished since the fire a few years ago so looks neat and tidy. Real shame that the front of the pier burnt down, use to spend hours there as kid playing on all the Arcades.

It has been beautifully restored. There are a few little shops, fish and chips and a doughnut shop. We visited the Victorian tea rooms which were really lovely.

Standard pier with typical pier attractions. Not as nice as Hastings

I suppose it must be lovely on a summer sunny day but I've visited it on a grey day, looks nice but most of facilities closed down so you don't have a chance really to look at the ocean and sip a cup of coffee unfortunately.

You have to pay to use the toilets, wish they used that money to refurbish them, very old & in much need of updating

Great place, historical and fun for all the family. There's a few fun food and gift shops on the pier, along with a Bar, Amusement Arcade, Victorian Tea rooms and a Camera obscura viewing area.
