I really like Eastbourne as compared to Brighton. It's peaceful, very good way to walk along the sea with great views, less crowdy and Town center is nearby where all the pubs and restaurants available.

Was here yesterday with the lovely Ursula and our grandchildren.
This is one of the original piers around the British coastline and it’s well worth a visit.
Unfortunately many of the old buildings on it were burned in a huge fire a few years back but it’s been restored really well and on a nice day, it’s really lovely.
It’s ideal as part of a walk along the wonderful promenade.

Stunning location of the pier, sea and pebble beach. Even more glorious when the sun is out shining. There's various shops and things to do, fish & chips, a bar, selection of ice creams, victorian tea room, arcade, mini golf, fishing shop, crystals & candles shop and a gift/souvenir shop. Stunning views and you can see the start of beachy head cliffs from a distance and the sound/sight of the seagulls.

I visited during the week on holiday. A lot of places were not open at all any day I went and some were open once and not again even though the opening hours said they should be.

Got to love people who complain that they can't take their dog somewhere. You chose to have a dog, so if somewhere doesn't allow dogs then get over it. That's like me and my wife complaining because we can't take our baby into a strip club ð we chose to have kids so can't complain if we can't go into an 18+ venue.

A very nice place to take photos and relax enjoying the sea and the sound of the waves, there are souvenir sales and restaurants. It has very good views, you can see the beautiful sunset. Benches to sit and admire the landscape. Well worth a visit if you are in Eastborne.Visited on
