Alot cleaner..Since the major Fire..The pier has been made alot safer..decking all resurfaced..still has the original small tourist arcade and little shops...alit of the slot machine are now minimum 10p!! I found this shocking as you would think they eould install a good few 1p...2p...5p. Games...as with families with more than one child will struggle changing the notes for 10ps as itll go too quickly! Theres a few 2p ones...but for the kiddies put more in and a couple penny ones! As the children with a bag of coppers feel like millionaires! Rather than one small plastic bag of 10ps! Where the main large arcade was ..its now open space with couple picnic tables. Could do with a seasonal skating rink or bumper car arena? As theres nothing like an British tradition of a lovely walk on the pier!

Eastbourne and Eastbourne Pier are more than worth a trip! You should first enjoy the pier from the beach and then visit it at your leisure.Visited on

The music was quite loud and it was crowded sadly a few drunk people were dancing! I was with elderly Eastbourne residents.

Lovely stroll down the pier as the sun was setting. Pint at the end with lovely view and warm sun . Will certainly return earlier in the day when next in the area.

Boring pier.
Bring back amusement arcade. These small units are struggling. Opening hours are barely open. Pub at end is OK but empty. Only place on there busy was the tearoom and there cakes aren't the best.Visited on

There are lots of Piers along the coast and Eastbourne pier is up there with the best of them. The blue and gold of the pier really stand out. There are several arcades and restaurants on the pier with great views from the end of the pier. Looks great lit up at night.
