Having heard good things about this place decided to visit, definitely worth booking as the restaurant is very small, even booking I was told they would need the table back but still gave us nearly 2 hours so it was fine. We both had 3 courses, their calamari starter is excellent, expensive but if you ordered that and had a side with it you could probably pass that off as a main course. Had at least 10 pieces of calamari and it actually tasted fresh. Can't remember the name of my main course but it was a big plate of prawns in sauce with a bowl of rice, again cooked very well. Although we would have been happy with 2 courses we decided to stay for pudding and coffee again both were good. I will definitely return at lunchtime as they offer a set menu making it more affordable but they do give you big portions. The experience seemed very authentic Greek, one of the chefs served our main courses which always makes it seem more authentic.

Very good lunch offer: we had mezze with bread and souvlaki. Delicious. Greek caffe is also very tasty. Well organised place, fast service. Prices are also ok. Recommended.

Great food and service, four of us ate here. Some of the vegan options on the menu had changed which was relevant for my partner but we really enjoyed our meal, the enviroment and the value was great. Would love to return for some great Greek food.

Just had an amazing meal at gre/at Greek. Good friendly service, great atmosphere and the food reminded us of being on holiday in Greece. Couldnt fault anything, we will definitely be returning.

Great spot for Greek food in Eastbourne. Fast, good value and tasty. They have all the classics - dips, salads, grilled halloumi and meats. We sat outside and it was quiet!

I was reluctantly dragged here by friends and just wow...it felt like I was back at my grandma's house in the summer! Sarmadakia are delicious, taramosalata is easily the best I've ever eaten and finally one of the few Greek restaurants that don't try to pass a lettuce/tomato salad as a Greek salad. I'll be back next time in I'm Eastbourne

Decided to book here after having takeaway a few weeks prior, (I think that option has stopped now) we enjoyed the food on both occasions. It was nice in the restaurant, felt like being on holiday with the warm weather and lovely Greek food. The menu is perfect, and everything was delicous. Looking forward to returning!

We loved this restaurant. The food was so good we went 2 nights in a row. The baked feta is to die for. Had the mixed meze, lamb shank, meatballs, chicken skewers and all of it was lovely. Above all the staff are great. I want to give a special mention to the young gentleman who served us both nights. Thank you for being such a lovely person. We chatted to you and you told us you were working whilst studying to be a nurse. A job I’m sure you are meant to do.

Efficient service with lots of COVID adjustments. The veggie shared starter was good, main courses tasty too. Service felt a bit rushed which is why I’ve gone for 4/5.

The food absolutely 1st Class. The calamari almost melted in the mouth, despite being unusually large rings. The halloumi thoroughly recommended. For main course we had tasty lamb cutlets and king prawns in a beautiful piquant sauce. The place was busy but even though we had not booked we were able to sit outside. In normalcircumstances suggest booking might be essential as it is clearly popular. Will definitely visit again when next in Eastbourne.

Best restaurant in Eastbourne, nice restaurant with lots of anti Covid measurements. The menu is average in prize with a good lunch offer (Starter plus main per £11), squid not included.
The size of the mains was quite small, something else was missing to make it very good.
Not the best one in town in my opinion, also they close from 3pm to 5pm.

We went here for an anniversary meal whilst staying in Eastbourne, based on Tripadvisor reviews, and I couldn't be more impressed.
Although we visited during Covid, service was faultless - best I have ever experienced in fact - the staff were attentive without being irritating, we didn't even notice they were there as they slipped in and out clearing tables, bringing drinks or food. Exactly what you want - a constant supply without having to look for assistance. The food was amazing also. We went with the set menu and it was more than enough food! All served one after the other without delay or asking.

Great service and great food. We managed to squeeze in at a small table on the terrace and the 3 different hosts serving us all knew exactly what they were doing and were extremely friendly + efficient. Right after our starters rain started pouring down and we couldn't sit outside anymore. The hosts immediately made room for us inside (while staying Covid-secure) where we could finish our meals before the next booking came. Nobody was visibly annoyed at the situation or even stressed. It says a lot when going the extra mile seems to be daily business for the staff.
Oh and by the way the food was delicious. Proper Greek dishes with authentic ingredients.

Had a fab meal at Gr/eat, booking is advised as so popular.
Staff were friendly and polite, service was quick and the food was amazing.We had the sharing Meze platter to start and it was lovely, as was our main meals, didn’t have room for a pudding!

Had a selection of smaller dishes, all delicious, with a very nice bottle of dry white house wine. Friendly and helpful service. Good table spacing and other measures. So pleased Gr/Eat has re-opened.

Had a fantastic meal with my husband for his birthday last night. Food was as usual excellent. The staff were very pleasant and efficient and all covid measures seemed to be in place.
