I didn't like the king prawns in spicy red wine sauce, it's was just tomato sauce and they were a bit raw. But the lamb chops that my partner have were fantastic. It's affordable and great service

Ate there last night (19th aug) on the eat out to help out sceme. To be honest, I'd eat at gr/eat whatever.
Service excellent and friendly, restaurant well spaced, and felt comfortable.
And the food....well, excellent!
As close as I'm going to get to Greece this year, and it almost makes up for it. Plus the best.ever. taramasalata (apologies fof the spelling) I think it is the best ever, be it here or on a Greek island)
We managed to get through 6 starters and a side salad, and all of it was fresh, tasty, and ..... fabulous.
It nearly beat us, but we gave it our best. Accompanied by a very lovely Greek wine, called Queen of hearts...definitely caught my heart.
Well worth a visit.

Lucky to get a table outside as it was very busy. We just picked it at random and were so glad we did. I had the keftedakia (meatballs on pita) to start and my better 1/2 had the Calamari to start. Both were outstanding, hot, tasty and well cooked. We both had the Souvlkaki for main. I had the chicken and she had the pork. Both were cooked to perfection and tasty as could be. A great find, highly recommend!!

We had lunch here and it was lovely, we sat outside on a beautiful day. The waitress was very nice, she was very pleasant and helpful. As for the food, we had the lunch menu which is great value,we could not fault anything. If we can come back to Eastbourne we will visit. We visited Eastbourne a couple of weekends ago and didnt get here until late as were driving and traffic was horrendous. Found this wee place a short walk from the hotel at 9pm.....when they were close to closing...but they looked after us so well, and the food was fantastic!

Interior could do with an update and bench seats collapsed so if not super tall it’s a bit of an issue to eat anything in a bowl as feel like a child. The calamari was unseasoned and bland but had a good texture. The lamb shank was tender but again lacked flavour. However the walnut pudding was divine albeit small but it needs to have a scoop of vanilla ice cream with it. Staff not wearing any kind of PPI nor do they ask for people to wear it when queueing for a table or leaving their table and no hand sanitizer available for guests.

It was a feast for all senses, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. You may think Greek meze a familiar treat, but the way it is served here will leave you surprised, and your taste buds will rejoice at a harmony discovered in a familiar fare. For even a humble hummus can sing when combined with a freshly baked flatbread, crispy and just soft enough to hold tantalising tzatziki or beautifully flavoured Gigandes plaki. For a main we had a Greek classic of pork souvlaki and a special of swordfish with a Greek salad. Sublime. Wash it all down with a nice glass of wine, and you can get your taste of Mediterranean right here, on the South coast. Made safe for customers with perspex screens, it was a perfect coming out of corona quarantine meal. Highly recommended!

I went to Gr eat last night for my birthday celebrations with 5 friends, the staff are just amazing and really make the evening in my opinion, the food is absolutely fantastic, it’s a privilege to have a restaurant of this quality in our town and I just want to thank all the staff for such a good evening.

Fabulous Greek food at fair prices. Friendly staff. Social distancing measures were the best in Eastbourne. I would say that permanent partitions would be worth a try as the temporary ones added a beneficial privacy element, making our dining experience more intimate. Thank you for being open during post lockdown. You are number one for very good reason. I highly recommend a visit. A short walk from the seafront and pier

Booked in advance of our trip. Well prepared social distancing in place. Food amazing. Servings large and starters shareable. Drinks prices very reasonable. Staff very professional and attentive. Highly recommended
