My second visit to this place with the previous being over one year ago.
Well the standards haven’t dropped in fact they are probably even higher.
The food is gorgeous and plentiful and as typically Greek as you can get. Service is great and it has a nice vibe about the place.
Definitely a place to go back again and again.

First visit this evening with my son. The food is delicious, staff super friendly and helpful. The portion size is very generous, and good value for money. Left feeling comfortably full and very happy. 10/10 from us.

True Greek food outside of Greece, as a Greek my self I was amazed by the tastes and authenticity of recipes taken from all parts of Greece.
A true culinary celebration next to the seaside.Fantastic members of staff ,always attending to all our needs, and the host (owner) lead us to see his true passion about Greek cuisine.
Although we could see the chef's,due to the open kitchen we still believe that they are angels in disguise sent to massage our gums!Thank you again for a fantastic evening!

First time I have eaten at the restaurant but having heard good things looked forward to the meal.
I certainly wasn’t disappointed, everything was just right, service was prompt and friendly, advice was given as to suitable choices and food quality was excellent.Interesting that the restaurant was busy the whole evening and says a lot about the place, as somebody who eats out a reasonable amount it takes something special to impress me and this place certainly did that.
Well done all, this business is a credit to Eastbourne.

A superb meal, good service a great night. This is the best restaurant we have been to in Eastbourne. The lamb chops were brilliant and the dips with home made pitta were to due for. Overall a great night out and reasonably priced - it cant be beaten

We were a group of 13 and had a brilliant night at Gr/Eat. The food was fantastic! We all had Meze and the food was delicious , lots of variety and more than enough to go round! The staff were amazing! They were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We all felt very well looked after! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great night out, delicious food and drink!

A great night! Staff very friendly and quick to serve. Food came out all at once and was really tasty. We had booked luckily as it was very busy and some walk-in customers were not able to be fitted in. Only thing to mention was a couple of the menu items had sold out but I guess that shows how popular they were. We definitely return and would recommend any one wanting a .gr/eat Greek food experience.

Have eaten here a number of times. We are regular visitors to santorini and the food here is as good as there. Always busy good atmosphere staff always good.

It is not often that I really can extoll the virtues of a meal out but this place is an exception.
Vasilis (yes we are now on first name basis due to the frequency of our visits....birthdays etc) is a humble gorgeous hunk of a man who treats my family with respect and kindness and from the first time we ate their was welcoming and attentive.Now that can't be bad.
Anyway the food is fab and the consistency of his fayre is always top notch.The meze dishes are huge and so are the main meals. We have started sharing mains and having some mezes. 4/5 meze dishes for 4 people are enough.
The mixed dips are devine and what with the pitta bread to dip ( covered in olive oil and herbs) they are so tasty.The meze octopus is devine and so are
pork souvlakistuffed calamari
lamb shank (huge)beef stifado(massive)
The halloumi is gorgeousoverall you cannot go wrong with visiting here and I would say it is one of my top 5 I have eaten in in my life!!!!
Now that's saying somethingI have friends who are vegetarian and vegan and they are so helpful and there is plenty to choose from.

We love Greek food so we were really looking forward to our visit; we were not disappointed! I would say that booking is essential, it was busy and buzzy, warm and inviting. Service was attentive and prompt. Lots to choose from on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious.... we loved it. Can’t wait for our next visit. Would recommend and ..... not expensive, so treat yourself.

Really loved it. When my friends said that they’ve booked a Greek restaurant I had my reservations... but I need not have worried! I would’ve thought being a veggie would have made things difficult but actually with the mezze sharing courses I was given my own meals and was told exactly what was in what. All in all was fantastic and very generous portions so I left feeling a stone heavier. Worth it!

Another welcome addition to Eastbourne, wonderful food and wine served with passion. We went for the meze with the ampeloeisis wine which was lovely. Highly recommend going and good luck we need more of these restaurants in Eastbourne.

Cannot rate the food, service and atmosphere highly enough. The portion sizes a very generous, so make sure you are nice and hungry. We were so impressed with our first visit we have booked to go back with friends next week.

Having just returned from Crete where the food was excellent we visited the Gr/Eat Greek Deli and Cuisine and were delighted to find that the food here was equally delicious. Not only was the food good, the service was excellent. A wonderful find. Only wish the sky and sea were as blue as Crete in Eastbourne!!

The atmosphere quickly carries you back to restaurants in Greece. A delightful ambience.The staff are so helpful and attentive and further add to the Greek feeling.
Finally the food is magnificent. The slow cooked leg of lamb melts in your mouth. The Chocolate cake is beyond words. A must visit. Say hello when you eat there because we shall undoubtedly be there.

We have both wanted to try GReat for sometime and we were not disappointed,we had the Meze for two and it was delicious.The courses just kept coming and we both left pleasantly stuffed.The staff were very friendly and attentive.
