A big group of us ate here for my Step Mums birthday on Thursday and what a night it was! We were greeted by several friendly faces as we walked in who gladly showed us to our seats downstairs where we had the whole lower floor to ourselves. From start to finish the service was second to none... always ensuring we had drinks, the food was prompt and it just kept coming. We opted for the Meze for £19.90 a head.. it was delicious and worth every penny! Every course that was brought out just kept getting better... my personal favourite was the deep fried feta, coated in sesame seeds and drizzled with Greek honey! Even when my mischievous little brother cranked up the volume on the stereo and started dancing around the place no one batted an eyelid and they even brought the band down from upstairs to sing happy birthday and invited everyone up for a dance. I would highly recommend this restaurant whether it’s for a couple on a date night or a big group for a special occasion. Called in for a midweek evening meal as a result of previous very positive reviews. We were expecting it to be good and were not disappointed. The menu contained a wide range of greek foods and my partner particular liked the Exohiko (lamb shank) which was similar in taste to Kleftico. Our meal was helped with a bottle of retsina for just under £13.
Due to the strong cold winds outside the restaurant was a little chilly to start with, as the place filled up it became warmer and our waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Open plan kitchen, which is always a good sign.By the time we left the restaurant was full and people were being turned away. Nearby restaurants, including one advertising some greek dishes were almost empty. Need I say more?

Thanks to the reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to visit this restaurant a short walk from our hotel.
A nice menu with some authentic Greek dishes. The Spiced Feta was really good. I thought the hummus could have had some more garlic in but that’s my preference.
On a cold February night I felt like I was sat in a waterside restaurant on one of the Greek Islands when I tasted the Giant beans. Wonderful.I will be back

Went for a family birthday dinner . The staff were so attentive and happy to explain the menu. They made us all feel welcome. Will definitely be back. Loved all the food on the meze.

Visited here this evening for my fathers birthday, looking for places to eat on trip advisor and this was well recommended and had good reviews.
I can say that we where not disappointed, great atmosphere, wonderful food and attentive staff.I live a good hour away but my father lives in Eastbourne, I would definitely travel an hour or more to eat here again and my father says he will be back.
It’s always a good sign when people of the same nationality as the food are eating here as well, got chatting to some fellow diners and they where Greek , there first time eating here too and they said that the food was definitely a taste of home, true Greek not like some others they had eaten in.Well done to the owner and staff for a job well done, I will definitely recommend to Thera and will definitely be back for more.

the food here is fantastic we have been here several times as a couple and also with friends, it is typically greek they don't rush you, the food is lovely and everyone is very friendly, we will keep going here

Absolutely amazing meal and service. Best Greek meal we have had in the UK and very reasonably priced. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Greek food. Celebrated my husbands Birthday last night and everyone is still talking about. Staff were lovely and Vassilis even taught us how to Greek dance. Will be booking again next time we are in Eastbourne.

The food is second to none. You just cant fault what they put in front of you. Even though there was a large group of us, the food came out piping hot and it was extremely tasty. You can't go wrong with a Meze, such good value for money.
The owner put on some entertainment after we had eaten, a little Greek dancing to end the perfect night. I can't thank all the staff enough for making my sister's birthday so wonderful. I think all the other restaurants in town should take a leaf out of this restaurant owner's book.

Our first visit to this restaurant and we were very impressed. Authentic Greek cuisine, cooked perfectly. We ate early (6:30 table booked) and the restaurant soon filled up. Clearly several of the diners were people who had eaten there before. We started with a Meze dish each; Fasolia Fournou and Spetsofai, I could have eaten a huge bowl of the bean dish (Spetsofai), it was delicious. Then, for mains, I had Exohiko, the lamb - sweet and succulent - fell off the bone. My husband ordered the sirloin steak (medium) and when the dish arrived it had been substituted with fillet, wonderful, no extra charge.
The atmosphere is relaxed but busy. Decor is pleasing and clean. Staff were attentive but not suffocating. We will definitely be going back to gr/eat and will recommend it to others.

Good service and reasonable prices
My kebab chicken was excellent. The Greek salad was very good. This is a casual place, don't be afraid of asking for exactly what you like.

Superb food especially the taramasolata which shows what total rubbish the version you get in supermarkets is. Good value lunch. Not been there in the evening and am told it is packed not surprising. Wish the owner would expand into my local greek to save the trek to eastbourne
