Nice little Greek restaurant in Eastbournes heart of food street. Stopped here for lunch and it was really nice, lots of Greek favourites and well presented. Baked feta cheese was really nice and we had the dips, did change the taramasalata (what's that all about) for a beetroot dip which was not problem for the staff. Very friendly staff indeed and would eat here again.

Wandered into this restaurant on a short break to Eastbourne. Wonderful surprise, great food, every dish a treat. First experience of Meze and rather more food than I expected so could not manage main course, but that also looked fantastic and husband assured that it was. Will definitely return to this restaurant on the next visit to Eastbourne.

Lovely meal - we had the meze which was £20 per head for 3 courses. Well the first cause consisted of about 10 dishes - then main course of chicken kebab and a spicy meat stew with rice and chips - then dese.rt. Wow! really tasty and so much. On top of this the owner was charming. Lovely night out

What a find!stumbled upon this restaurant during my training course and boy, I was super impressed. I had calamari with tzaziki and calamari was indeed cooked to perfection : juicy and melting in my mouth. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to relive their Greek holidays or is up to trying Greek finest cuisine.

Had lunch at this excellent café / restaurant yesterday following recommendation from a nearby coffee bar owner!
What an excellent choice! Having just returned from my 40th or so visit to Greece I am always on the lookout for authentic Greek in the UK! This was as good as it gets!
We ordered a Greek salad as a starter which was presented in authentic island style with a slab of feta cheese placed on top - not cubed which I have never experienced on the 25 or so islands I have visited! We then ordered 2 chicken souvlakis which were very authentically presented and tasted delicious.
To accompany the food, Mythos beer was also available - and at half the price my girlfriend and myself had been paying in Mykonos just 48 hours earlier!
An excellent experience and, as frequent visitors to Eastbourne, one we will look to repeat!

This is going to be the boring review I've ever written. Everything I ate,and drank was amazing. Absolutely packed at 6:30. Now I know why? The attention to detail was exceptional. We ordered the Meze, Not the usual eat til you're sick with no quality Meze.
Rather exceptional quality with every course.Eventually had to admit defeat before the desert. Definitely worth a visit. And opposite another favorite Neates opposite.

I holiday in Greece regularly, usually around September so it must have been the time of year that gave me a yearning for some Greek cuisine whilst on a two day trip to Eastbourne. I googled "best Greek food in Eastbourne" and up popped Gr/Eat so I decided to give it a whirl and was not let down. It really is delicious authentic Greek food. We arrived around 7pm on a Thursday night and were lucky enough to get the last available table without having made a reservation. Obviously it is a very popular destination. The staff were warm and friendly and pretty soon I found myself sipping on an ice cold glass of retsina whilst going through the menu. With so much to choose from we opted for a mixture of dips, mezes and salads with hot pitta bread on the side. It was heaven. I was especially knocked out by the baked feta with tomato and chilli which transported me back to Crete 20 years ago when I first came across this dish. It was sublime and had my partner and I wrestling over the crispy edges of the baked cheese that had stuck to the dish. If I was going to be picky at all it would be that the prawn salad ( Garidosalata ) wasn't quite what I had expected and although very tasty it came pretty close to eating a very large prawn cocktail. That said I think any visitor will find something on the menu to suit and there's a good variety of vegetarian dishes too. Had I been in the area longer I know I would have made a return visit. The establishment is open for breakfast right up until 1pm and there is also a rather tempting looking Deli menu during the daytime. The clientele varied from older couples to family groups with young children and the ambience was very happy and relaxed. All in all a little gem of a place and highly recommended.

This busy little restaurant was greek food as you would find in Greece. Exceptional flavours and quality - we eventually settled for the fixed price option where the chef chooses what dishes you are served and we certainly didn't regret our choice. Such variety of flavours and quality ingredients, well balanced dishes I can't wait to go there again.- but shshhh don't tell too many people - I want to be able to get a table next time!

We had lunch here with my husband and little one on Friday. The food was tasty and the portions good sized. The dips (tzatziki, hummus, taramasalata) were flavourful but I enjoyed the mezes most. Main courses were all right and dessert was tasty however a bit too sweet for my husband.
It was quite busy and the staff was relatively quick and friendly. I gave them only 4 stars because of 2 things: they didn't do quality checks on the food at all nor offered more drinks once we finished them.
All in all it was a lovely lunch and we'd like to return.

Came to this little slice of Greece in Eastbourne this evening , I hardly want to say how good it was as I like to keep it to myself !!!! but I have to say this place is beautifully decorated very calming , and the food was absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection, and extremely reasonable in price it really was traditionally perfect in every way. We will be regular visitors from now on, well done to the owners and staff for creating this lovely restaurant highly recommend

I found this place whilst looking for somewhere different to take my wife whilst we stayed in Eastbourne for a couple of nights.
Stupidly, I did not book in advance and when I took her there to see if we could get a table for dinner, they were fully booked for both nights, but luckily I managed to get a booking for lunch.
The food was beautiful and there are some authentic drinks to compliment it.The staff were lovely and seemed pleased to be serving something they were passionate about.
The atmosphere was made perfect by having authentic music playing in the background, making you almost feel as if you were actually in Greece.

We went to this great Greek restaurant for lunch it was our second visit the first being a few months ago and it was equally as good this time,this is the best Greek food outside Greece the mezes were delicious as were the mixed dips and the lovely Greek salad we will certainly be back very soon

Come across Gr/Eat on trip advisor 2nd in Eastbourne so phoned up fully booked after 6 but they said they would squeeze us in which was great had 2 hrs to order/eat. All the staff was very friendly food was best Greek food I've had outside or Greece possibly just as good! Defo worth booking but best restaurant I've been to Eastbourne by far!!!:D

This is my second time been there as I did try to go before but they always busy so you have to book In advance what can I say about this place starting with warm welcome and smile and finish with the best food and dessert and very good value for money highly recommend

We'd not been able to book a table, neither could our hotel concierge but we decided to go along and try our luck. Although all the tables inside were reserved, we got a great table outside. Food was excellent and service good. I'd recommend it.

I went here with a group of friends for a birthday celebration. We had mezze and the food was outstanding. I don't eat meat but the manager ensured I had the vegetarian mezze and it was delicious with lots of varied and interesting dishes.
